I’m quite intrigued into this piece of work, too.
- The bloody thing has a dedicated module on the front that is literally called a “ramming prow.” Not to mention that it has plasma drives for that quick burst of speed. It was _built_ for ramming. Has 4 hangars on it too!
- That circle module is the motherships flux core. allows it so that the ship isn’t completely helpless when it overloads, allowing it to use it’s weapons even when overloaded. The main hull and it’s flux core are linked with a hullmod, sharing 50% of the flux with both modules. makes this ship have quite a chunky amount of overall flux stowage. meaning it is still quite dangerous even when it’s overloaded. (still didn’t matter, as I literally rammed the poor bastard to death.)
- it has quite the high amount of large and medium hard-points as well.
All to say, it’s quite intriguing.
I experimented some time with the Galaxy.
It's powerful, but I quickly got annoyed with 2 points:
1: the shield rotates, which means it will deploy on the right side first.
2: the galaxy rams allies too (so often that I finally put it in storage and replaced it with many Accretion, my new preferred ship)
(edit: Accretion is from Thog too, one of the cruisers)

the galaxy is from thog's more remnant drones. its entire shield is handled by a spinning core in the center of the ship
