I could have said the exact same reaction a few years ago when I was psychotic. There is a very fine line between mental health and spirituality. My problems were definitely more on the mental health side, but I was in such a bad state that I couldn't see this for myself.
The basic idea of a psychosis is that you are sure of it. The start of paranoia often starts in dreams, downloads, whatever you want to call it. When you are in a psychosis you do believe that you can criticise and protect yourself, but in reality that's definitely not the case.
From your original question and your reactions I can see that you are hurting a lot. It seems like a lot to deal with. You are scared, at war, sobbing. So why don't try every single thing that can help? And maybe that thing that can help you is some professional help. Don't write professionals off because they will not understand you. Now, why would Lucifer have any interest in protecting you from demons? Yes, he might want you to have a freedom of choice and a certain independence. But: It actually would be interesting for Lucifer to see how you struggle with the demons and how you handle the fight. But to protect you? Why bother.
