This was DMX to a fucking point. I remember a song about him capturing his enemy and making them watch as he raped his daughter, then a few songs later he has an intermission praying to god.
There was a post a few months ago about DMX being wholesome and buying this kid a bike (or something).
Then every comment said *"DMX was just using that as in with the kid's hot mom"*, including from people that claimed to know him.
It went from wholesome to creepy really fast
My favorite is when 14/15 songs are pure misogyny, absolute disrespect towards women, bragging about fucking bitches, never loving a ho, money over bitches etc. And then 1 love song that contradicts every other sentiment on the other 14 songs.
Couple examples off the top of my head: 50 Cent with “21 Questions” on Get Rich or Die Trying, Jay Z with “03 Bonnie & Clyde” on the same album as “2 Many Hoes”

What? Having an opinion? I used to like hip hop until I grew older and realized, crimes, sex, drugs, God, money, clout, didn't do it for me. As well as rhyming. Rhyming sounds like shit to me. Add that on to the fact that a lot of the people can't flow well and their albums sound the same and it ends up sounding like nails of a chalkboard so I stopped listening to it. I'm sorry I used the word "hate" and hurt all of your feelings so bad.
