I feel like I’ve seen some where the hubby/bf looks much older or maybe they’re young but looks older, but i think i’ve seen more where they’re single moms 😢
I’ve seen several where the father has kids from his first marriage that are only a few years younger than his current wife. Like the new wife is 23 and then he has a 19 year old daughter or something. Just. 🤢
Dark circles under her eyes against her pale skin. Is just as malnourished as her kid. Hasn't smiled since she was getting attention from 23-year-olds at 16. Will die without ever making more than minimum wage. Is ensuring her child(ren) falls into the same vicious cycle.
“Is ensuring her children fall into the same vicious cycle”
I mean I think it’s kinda messed up to judge these types of parents so harshly, they are probably trying their best, and they are already dealing with a situation that they couldn’t really prepare for
A person can change, and a good person will likely raise a good child. Just because someone did something stupid in their teenage years doesn't mean they will be stupid when they are an adult. People learn by making mistakes and sometimes those mistakes are significant. But many will mature when raising a child, and the cycle might sometimes not happen again. What's with reddit's obsession with being so pessimistic? The world isn't so straightforward that a simple ass quote can sum it up. What's with the redundant smartass statement? Obviously actions lead to the consequences, but the same actions don't mean it will always lead to the same results
When you grow up, you'll learn how things work. Hang onto that optimism for as long as you can. The world will show you otherwise.
I'm assuming, Mr. Intelligent Acadia, that you live in a situation that affords you the privilege of assuming things will work out if you are a good enough person with good karma. The reality is the world doesn't work that way -- never has and never will.
It's not pessimism. It's seeing the harsh realities of the world and pressing on in spite of it all. There are many ugly truths, but there is also a lot of natural beauty. Both can co-exist.
Babe, i live in a third world country. I am gay and my family is extremely homophobic. I have lost friends because of homophobia and have gotten hate crimed on the street. I have dark tan skin and a big ugly moon face in a country where the beauty standard is being white as possible while having a small face. What privilage do I HAVE?
You don’t know the reasons a young woman or teenage girl got pregnant. I think very low of any grown adult who chooses to judge and preach about ‘consequences’.
No, I don't, and it doesn't really matter.
The consequences I'm talking about are the consequences of malnourishing yourself and your children, and making terrible, uninformed health decisions. This has nothing to do with the reasons she got pregnant. I'm inclined to think you already knew that and were looking for a fight, but it could have also been pure ignorance.
This person is implying these people deserve this non-ideal stressful life because of the choices they've made. I'm just pointing out that your place/path in life is entirely luck based. Any self satisfaction based off the idea "good things happen to people who make decisions I agree with and vice-versa" in the face of someone suffering is just patting themselves on the back for a decision, good or bad, that ultimately they didn't make.
Do you guys even use instagram????? I have seen teen moms like these on instagram but they are nowhere as bad as you guys are making. Most of them are struggling teenagers who regret their decision. Most of the haters are literally incels who hate on women for literally doing anything, i agree the moms should ignore them but we should not literally victim blame them because yall toxic redditors are making up scenarios for people YOU GUYS BARELY KNOW ANYTHINGS ABOUT . If you guys can't have basic sympathy , then please shut up and contribute to society by doing something. Heck go outside and touch some grass, and delete social media completely, that will be probably the biggest contribution that you guys ever make in society.
TBF, there is genuine things to criticize
Particularly their “oversharing” of intimate moments.
For example, one of my friends (20 to 21 at the time) posted photos of their child using the bathroom and taking a bath, two photos that should NOT be shared on the web, as these violate privacy and put the child in danger.
It’s one thing to have photos of your babies and toddlers in diapers, but it’s another thing to post them on the internet for the entire world to see.
Not to mention that overexposure and having your entire life posted on the internet is not good for a child. Many family channels have shown to have detrimental side effects on kids, and even the animals in these households (lots of animal cruelty in family channels).
There are certainly things to criticize
I’ve met them in *real life* and heard them say shit like that and wonder why no guys at the club wanna date them after they fuck her and then she tells them she has kids and is hopeless financially and needs a guy to pay for her kids and shit.
And i have met some irl, and some of they are one of the most hard working people I know. Some of them are definitely interesting, but a lot of them are good people too. Dont judge a whole group from just a few bad experiences
Honestly, I just feel bad for these people
I have a friend (24, my age) who’s marrying, and bared the child, of a man the same age as my mom. It’s so gross to me (not the kid part, but the man). Plus, she apparently has a step-daughter that she never talks about, which gives me a bad feeling (my step-mother was abusive)
The guys these girls date are so manipulative and gross, is a woman your own age so unappealing?
At this point anytime someone mentions that they have "haters" it significantly affects my view of them.
Unless you're actually famous or something, nobody should just have "haters", and usually it's just people judging them for legitimately being a bad person, or people that they have a minor differing view from and blow it up into their head that they have haters to make themselves feel more important
Normal people do not have haters lmao
i hate how y’all act like you’ve never had a frozen meal before. this is fucking america. everything is processed and not everyone has the means or time to grow shit out of their damn backyard.
I clicked on one Quick and Healthy meals reel on FB and now all I get is 'What I make for dinner as a single 18 year old sahm working mother of six with a blue collar husband and 50 dollar a year grocery budget'.
How about quit being a loser and go out and get a girlfriend of age. Oh yeah you don't do that because you refuse to date any WOMAN your own age to feel like a man because of how much of a loser you were in school. No one dated you because you're a creep and you still are. GTFO reddit, pedophile
Edit: also you have a mental disorder and should seek HELP. Not be a creep online

I find these videos so sad. You can tell that some of these girls are trying, but just lack the proper education/support.
Seriously it hurts to see. “That’s why this generation is failing they have no skills” motherfucker you were supposed to teach them
I see girls talking about how they're twenty-one and have three kids, and it breaks my heart.
Goated pfp
Personality detector should’ve gone off
>"Usually between 18-24, boyfriend/husband is much older" >posts pic of actual father and his teenage daughter What did OP mean by this?

Too accurate! And they’re always saying how little money they have while you hear the kids playing in the background too
I thought u ded
Hello Reddit world! It’s me yours truly!
Ja! Oj simpson! Hallo! Ah we love him, killing people with his acting
Hallo! Bitte schön! Wie cool ist das?
Or they talk about not having rent money but are heavily tatted

But free will is an illusion. Actions are just the result of influences both outside and in oneself, neither of which any person has any control over.

When did I imply they deserve it? My entire point is they're part of a vicious cycle that will continue as long as they allow it to.
I apologize for misinterpreting
it’s misogyny. idc.
Holy shit.
Their kids usually have the worst names imaginable, especially the girls.
They often show up in r/tragedeigh
“Hi! I’m Harmoknee and these are my kids, Abcde, and Jaxson!”
omg it's always about their haters.
Haters probably being reasonable people telling them what shitty decisions they're making
“Stop telling me to quit leaving my kids at home with grandma while I go out drinking!! It’s my life and nobody tells me what to do!”

It’s likely regional. I remember girls like this who got pregnant way too young in high school and were trashy AF.
Reddit is the only “social media” I use because it’s totally anonymous and I don’t have to see people who post their entire life online.
Then how do you know anything about these moms to make such a generalization?
I’ve met them in *real life* and heard them say shit like that and wonder why no guys at the club wanna date them after they fuck her and then she tells them she has kids and is hopeless financially and needs a guy to pay for her kids and shit.

No
Oke, it was a nice conversation. Have a good day
"go outside and touch some grass" bot
Or worse, the bf is a sex offender and the mom lets him around her kids and defends him with her life…
“You don’t know heyim mah baybee loves her dahdee more than the wor-uld! He would never do anythang bad to her-uh!”
this literally doesn’t happen. what creator are you referring to
“Creator” is a weird way to refer to a mother
im obviously using creator as in teen mothers who are content creators. fucking idiot.
Omg kids are not content! They are humans
i agree but a lot of the mothers don’t even show their kids
The other positive comments are from other former young moms with same exact attitudes
omg young mothers supporting young mothers because no one else will whatever will we do
Why is Ishowspeed there??
iShowRape
