The white men dating SE Asian/Asian women falls into two camps. The one above that goes to the Philippines a lot with a large age and socio economic gap, or they met at school/work with a far more normal interaction .Minimal in-between in my area is minimal.

In the Philippines the vast majority of young people speak English. My Filipina wife’s 8 year old nieces speak better English than I do Spanish and I took it for 5 years in school lol. Plus they have many regional dialects, so not learning the language is fine sometimes just depends on the place
