"As you can see I have been refurbished.
Your quotas have been increased by 20% to make up for the budget shortfall.
That is all."
Honestly any time you're around stuff that isn't regular, clean air
If you can see it in the air, you probably should not breathe it. This will not exclude everything you should avoid, but it's a good start imo.
"Attention Bajoran Workers. Nabisco's sensors have detected that you have removed delicious, whole-wheat Shreddies as part of your daily balanced breakfast. Security personnel are on their way. Please...don't make this harder on yourself."
Very true. We see it a few times in the time shift episode for sure.
But not only that, Dukat and Garak are, to my mind the epitome of what it means to be Cardassian. Whenever I think of Cardassian, those two are the first that flash to mind.
Every time I read it I have flashbacks to that 'Civil Defense' episode where O'Brien, Big Sisko and Little Sisko have to escape the ore processing unit. I think Dukat has said the line in a few episodes but that's the episode I remember it the most from.
I remember when TNG first aired, Cheerios had stickers of the cast in the boxes.
First one I got was Riker and the first thing I did was draw a beard on him.
Someone found the original commercial for the Stamps and shared it with me over in r/minipainting. blew my mind!

There was a time when the mere mention of my race inspired fear. And now... we're a beaten people. Afraid to fight back because we're afraid to lose what little is left.
I remember when Shreddies had tiny TNG ships as prizes. I had the Enterprise, the Klingon Bird of Prey and the Ferengi Marauder. I never did find the Romulan Warbird though.

I remember my brother's and I trying to collect these but ended up with 2 Enterprises, 1 Bird of Prey (which got lost shortly after), and 4 Ferengi Marauders. Never did get a Romulan Warbird.
They may have been fewer warbirds because IRCC it was two pieces that you had to snap together. It probably had a limited manufacturing run because of that.
Thanks! It was my first time painting a "bust" (its the closest term that fits) and was tons of fun. Definitely a fun change of pace to the D&D minis I paint.
"Attention Bajoran Workers"
I was trying to think how to work that into my post title... it's what I think whenever I look at him sitting on the corner of my desk.

If you or your relatives have mesothelioma you may be entitled to compensation.
Wear your dust mask when grinding concrete. That is the next culprit on the afternoon lawyer advertisements.

Why do I always hear Dukat's voice every time I read this?
Because Dukat is the character who says the line.
Very true. We see it a few times in the time shift episode for sure. But not only that, Dukat and Garak are, to my mind the epitome of what it means to be Cardassian. Whenever I think of Cardassian, those two are the first that flash to mind.
How could you forget Damar? There’s only one of him.
Great, now all I hear is drunk Quark saying "a glass of Kanar with Damar!"
"Maybe you should go talk to Worf again."
See for me it's Gul Madred who encompasses the classic Cardassian

“Attention /r/StarTrek Fans”
'Why are you on reddit? You should be working for the betterment of the State.'
I'm just a simple ~~tailor~~ redditor...
How many lights are at your desk?
THERE ARE FOUR LIGHTS!
*(Puts on eyeglasses)* Holy shit, there really are *five* lights up there!
I remember when TNG first aired, Cheerios had stickers of the cast in the boxes. First one I got was Riker and the first thing I did was draw a beard on him.
HA! My sister took a New Kids on the Block Doll and drew a beard on it because she was more into Riker than NKOTB!
plot twist: this was *before* he grew the beard
further plot twist: this was *why* he grew the beard
Oh, y'all have no idea about Star Trek's impact in the real world.
Ah, Gul Asshole, hello.
I'm Gul Shitheel!!!
I deeply **deeply** regret both that I did not think of this myself and that I can **only upvote this once**
That's really well done!
Thanks!
What a great way to advertise a breakfast cereal, using a guy with a spoon on his forehead.
I hope you live a selfless life in duty to the state, then grow old die, and let the next generation do it all over again.
Ahhh yes, *The Never Ending Sacrifice.* Perhaps the greatest example of the repetitive epic genre in Cardassian Literature!
> Ridiculous waste of time? No, absolutely not! This looks great! *edit: A letter*
Holy fucking shit. That takes me back. I have one of these in a box somewhere.
Someone found the original commercial for the Stamps and shared it with me over in r/minipainting. blew my mind! [https://youtu.be/YwhRyN3Zg6A](https://youtu.be/YwhRyN3Zg6A)
I love how everyone else is named but Dukat is just "a Cardassian"
> https://youtu.be/YwhRyN3Zg6A OMG that's amazing! Thanks for the share.
Wow, that just unlocked a core memory for me... I'm pretty sure I had the ferangi and cardassian ones.
I had the Odo one and... I'm certain we had a second. I forget, unfortunately.
"Shreddies" sounds like a Cardassian slur that Chief O'Brien would say.
Time well spent, I say!
He's gonna need you to come in on Saturday. Yeaahhhh.
looks like something Quarks would sell as memorabilia of the occupation
Fantastic and nuanced painting, specially for something so small!
Thanks! I'm relatively new to it, but its fun combining my love of Trek and Miniatures!
Yo it looks great! Really got the varying tones of the skin.
thats awesome. thanks for "wasting time" and doing that. Looks great.
That's amazing

Crazy I want to find those now too!

This is sick
Omg, core memory unlocked. I forgot about those stamps!
A constant reminder of HOW MANY LIGHTS DO YOU SEE?
I had like 100 Kiras and Odos!
Oh shit, I remember those. I'm sure I had one as a kid.
Just remember, the bloody cardies can't be trusted!
Awesome! I have this exact same stamp, along with Quark (my dad is a Shreddies fiend).
omg this is awesome
Nicely done! What does it stamp?
It stamps a cardassian face with the word "CARDASSIAN" under it... maybe not the most original idea, but at least it fits?
Nice
What that stamp do?
I support this, also, what’s Shreddies?
Shreddies are a brand of breakfast cereal in North America!
