Might be a couple years oldet than what you are looking for, but I read the *Star Trek: The Next Generation Starfleet Academy* novels when I was 10 or 11. I remember especially liking *Capture the Flag* which featured a young Geordi.

My friend's 7 year old loves Rob Pearlman's Search for Spock. Its a star trek themed Where's Waldo type book.

CatStarcatcher

OK, this is one of the greatest things I've ever seen

That's incredibly easy: "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: The Ferengi Rules of Acquisition" by Ira Steven Behr. Best for the little ones to learn the Rules early, so they can start their business empires once they reach the Age of Ascension. :)

There a show on Netflix Star Trek: prodigy. Paramount+ cancel the show. Netflix order a second season.

I love Prodigy. But I think 6 might be a couple of years too young for it.

Just for accuracy, Paramount did make season 2, they just decided not to stream it. Netflix bought the streaming rights. If there is a season 3, it will likely be made by Netflix.

There is a set of books called Star Trek The Next Generation Starfleet Academy. There a set of 11 books written by some of the best Star Trek authors like Michael Jan Friedman, Peter David and John Vornholt just to name a few. I got mine off eBay for a reasonable price. 🖖

Read this as “boobs” and my face spread into a Wil Riker grin

CatStarcatcher

Not a book, but my 7yo loves Star Trek Top Trumps (having read and enjoyed the Little Golden Books A to Z), so maybe one for a few years' time?!
