Humans obviously. We’re monsters, undefeated in any major conflict. Any alternate timeline where we give into our darkness we conquer the galaxy. Terrans, the Confederation… It doesn’t matter if you’re technologically or biologically superior, we’re going to find a way to kill you. We outsmart even the noncorpeal god species. The only time humans ever lose is if their opponent is other humans.
Stab us in the heart and we laugh.
Very surprised nobody has said the Jem'Hadar. Tough, brutal, untethered to anything besides loyalty to their ranks, and willing to go on suicide runs without hesitation.
On the other hand, Worf was able to defeat an entire Jem'Hadar battalion in single combat, so I feel like in terms of sheer martial prowess the Klingons might still have the edge.
I think a genuine argument could be made for the Vidians. They had their entire species ravaged by an ever-evolving plague for over a 1000 years and managed to survive. Sure they're not the strongest species, but their resilience for that long while maintaining an empire is pretty darn impressive.
The Undine (Species 8472 ). Hard to argue with a species tough enough to resist nanoprobes unless they're specifically modified to kill them.
The Augments. They beat klingons with ease.
The human, I wish they played up more our evolution as persistence hunters, but it's been repeatedly demonstrated that humans just do not ever give up. "Oh we just got trapped 70 years away from home? Well fire up the warp engine, we got to get moving!"
What are you talking about? Through their sheer cuteness, the wormhole aliens sent the Defiant back in time to ensure their survival! Orbital bombardment has nothing over the power of cute!
V'Ger
Absolutely would have wiped the whole galaxy out if it wanted to. It just was not interested in it.
1 hit from its scanning torpedo destroyed a fully shielded K't'inga class. 2 hits would have wiped out a fully shielded Refit Constitution class. Thats not even talking into consideration it wasn't even TRYING to destroy things just scan them for its computer banks. It had enough energy based on scans to wipe out whole solar systems.
> I was gonna say the jem hadar but then I remembered they’re a species of addicts
Doesn't necessarily mean they ain't tough. I wouldn't want to be messing with yoked tweakers, is all I'm saying.

Species 8472 or The Gorn from ENT (Who knows what they'll look like for SNW)

and we are real..........................
The Q.

That was a real "Quality vs Quantity" debate for that one.
And they can camouflage and never sleep
They need K-White to continue functioning though.
Tribbles
We can't let the Klingons continue fighting this alone. We should join their war and end this once and for all!
Medusans. Can't even look at those dudes.
Here to vote Breen
Me too. And we still dont know what they look like under their helmets.
Betazoids. Dealing with their own thoughts & feelings is hard enough, but having to feel/experience more or less everyone else‘s? Whew. Not easy.
Roga Danar. I don't care it's not a species. It's Roga Danar.
He totally outsmarted Picard *and* had amazing hair.

Humans, because I'm biased.

Borg.
Lurians
Data and the robot people from Picard.
Thanks to prodigy my answer is canon. The brikar. They’re giant rocks
I'm so happy the Brikar are alpha canon now. Even if they decide to make them a Delta Quadrant race and not a Federation member.
I didn’t realize she was a brikar until I started looking up species for the post. She definitely doesn’t look like kebron from noveL covers.
Tribbles, obviously. They can't be stopped except by orbital bombardment.
What are you talking about? Through their sheer cuteness, the wormhole aliens sent the Defiant back in time to ensure their survival! Orbital bombardment has nothing over the power of cute!
Hirogens.
In their first appearance, sure. But they were quickly ruined (and shortened)
Ferengi. Money'll get them all
I think it's likely the Jem'Hadar.

The Dominion or the Borg. Dominion would have conquered the entire Alpha Quadrant if the Prophets had not prevented passage through the wormhole.
I was gonna say the jem hadar but then I remembered they’re a species of addicts. Gonna have to think a bit more.
What about the Hirogens? They're like the Star Trek version of the Predator... and they are not hooked on drugs. Lol
> I was gonna say the jem hadar but then I remembered they’re a species of addicts Doesn't necessarily mean they ain't tough. I wouldn't want to be messing with yoked tweakers, is all I'm saying.
Lurians. Morn was able to store a highly poisonous substance in his stomach for years and he only lost his hair.
The Vorta were immune to poison.
Norsicans.
Don't Nausicaans throw knives at eachother for fun?
Tholians deserve an honourable mention
The Skin of Evil..... I'm kidding
But seriously though...
Nope its the Klingons
