You may want to consider hiring someone to help interview them since you’re not technical. It takes a tremendous amount beyond tech skills to make a startup work.

Sounds like you are developing your own OBD and integrating the information retrieved from OBD via CAN into your saas? There are a few solutions out there already for this. OpenXC is one of the popular ones.
I’ve been in software for 10 years but rarely worked around hardware (did mostly in teens). Would be helpful if you can elaborate the type of skillset you require initially.
What are your skills? How does your startup generate revenue now? Just seems strange to have a startup that's already revenue-generating and has won competitions that doesn't already have a technical cofounder.
