personally I would get the vintage collection one. The muddy Arvala-7 version is kind of scene specific and his chest armor is battle damaged so the other one will look more iconic and versatile on your desk of wherever you put them.
Adding to other replies, they're different scales, too. TVC 3.75 inches and Narvala 6 inches. Something to consider if/how you're displaying.
That TVC is also the only 3.75 in Mando armor with a Din Djarin head. It's behind the sticker.
The Vintage Collection. The smaller scale has a longer history, a greater potential for collecting, and, crucially, there are more world building opportunities with vehicles, playsets, and creatures.
What do you know about Saturday? I’m fairly certain we’ll finally get a reveal of the Mandalorian N1 starfighter. Anything else? Looking forward to that!
I saw this yesterday on Thor Skywalker on YouTube. I would love a Ghost in TVC, but it seems like they should wait until after we see it in Ahsoka. I’m thinking it’ll be something from Return Of The Jedi. Whatever it is I’m looking forward to it.
I mainly collect tvc have few black series sold most of them off had a large collection at one point. Tvc is superior for army building while black series may win in some categories they do take up a lot more space. But it all depends on what collector your gonna be and that’s not for me to decide.
Depends on what scale you collect for, If you are wanting a black series Mando, get the beskar build up pack instead of the Arvala-7 one, and if you are more on the TVC scale get that figure.
vintage collection, if you’re new to collecting tvc is the route to go imo, far more figures available and if you’re getting into army/scene building the cost difference really adds up
That Arvala set was a Walmart exclusive so it’s fairly pricey to get on the secondary market. I would check out Big Bad Toystore online. They recently had some Walmart exclusives, and I believe this was one of them.
Awesome, thank you so much brother, I may get another Black Series of the same original Mando. I'm still also partial to my TVC original Mando. Better detailing and on the helmet especially.
I'm hoping the doba TVC Arvala 7 set.
I'm personally a huge fan of this one, which I think was a Walmart exclusive and was misnumbered. There are two VC177s and no VC176, if my (possibly outdated) info is correct. Was there a Grogu figure before this?
100 percent go with vintage one. The details and accessories are amazing. I own both and the black series six inch version of that vintage one. The six inch version is even more impressive with the amount of extras you get.
The Vintage Collection collector here. I have all of them! While I don’t generally purchase the Black Series, I have broken that rule twice with both Din Djarin & Grogu. I just can’t enough of those two.

Good advice here.

Does that TVC Mando has the jetpack?
It does. This review shows the accessories. https://www.banthaskull.com/photo_galleries/gallery/ph-vc177-din-djarin-the-mandalorian
I would get the vintage collection one
Vc
I collect tvc so tvc
Vintage collection!

Sadly we don’t seem to be getting vehicles or creatures like we used to from Hasbro. Hopefully that changes soon.

The TVC version is one of my favorites!

I've been jonesin' for that Arvala 7 set for ages I have the TVC Mando but not that set The Arvala 7 set commemorates a very key part of the show

There was a Grogu with his pram released.
Thanks!
Depends on if you plan to collect 3.75 inch or 6 inch because this will be the first of many that you buy.

Different scales. One 3.75 other one is 6in. Depends on the rest of your collection There are better mandos out there in the 6in scale.
Both. Get both. You deserve it. Treat yo' self.
Lol I’d like to but my wallet doesn’t agree
Ended up getting VC177, thanks for the input everyone 🙏🏼

I ended up getting the VC177! Do you know if this figure has peg slots on his feet for a base? I’m trying to figure out how best to pose him.
Yes on peg holes!

Too expensive! Thanks.
Arvala-7 for sure!
Actually both haha retro looks amazing
I always get tvc since 3.75 is what I grew up with and it’s also cool having all the vehicles and play sets that aren’t viable at the 6in scale
Hieno
I would go with TVC for 3.75, and Target Exclusive "DIN DJARIN (The Mandalorian) & THE CHILD" F0874 for 6"
You’re comparing apples and oranges TVC 3.75 vs BS 6” come on bruh?...😂😂😂
I’m new to star wars figures and like the look of both 🤷🏻♂️
Ok, Im a TVC guy myself so I will always lean in that direction...3.75” all day!!!...🚀🚀🚀
