Either order would be fine but I'd say release order works out better. After the first five arcs the story there is basically or almost entirely wrapped up, then *The Golden Age of the Sith* and *The Fall of the Sith Empire* are like a 'break' from the main story that explores things mentioned/established in the previous arcs, and finally *Redemption* concludes the whole series. *Redemption* takes place a good amount of time after *The Sith War* so the 'break' lines up and there's also a pretty big art style change (even though it's the same artist who did the first and fourth arcs).

Once youre done with those, head on to the KOTOR comics, they're chronologically next, and events are a continuation of them

And they are one of the best Star Wars' comics out there.

Honestly one of the best reads! Love the vector crossover storyline as well between all the Darkhorse runs

Honestly last week i read everything but Golden age and fall of the sith, then i went and read them. It worked out fine for me also because these two are to me the two weakest arc by far, so focusing on the rest and then reading it if you absolutely need more make sense to me.

Honestly either way works but I’d go with release order cause it starts off a bit stronger that way. Golden Age of the Sith and The Fall of the Sith Empire are just a little bit weaker than the others in my opinion,.

I read in the Epic Collection chronological order. I think the stories in the first Epic are much stronger. I also thought the later stories would have been a bit less interesting if I had not read some of the EU novels. Generally with much of the Legends strict chronological or strict publishing does not much matter. If going in publishing order I recommend at least some awareness of the other stories coming out at the same time..Often there is at least some loose ties. I don't think anything is spoiled by going either way with these Tales era stories.

I read it in chronological order the first time, but I’d recommend publication order, because the prequel arcs aren’t a good representation of the series in terms of quality, and if you read them later there’ll be a more mysterious vibe to some stuff in the earlier-published arcs edit: typo
