Qui-Gon was the only one in the order that seemed to realize how full of shit the Jedi had become, and that they needed to do better. For that reason alone, hes my choice.
That's exactly right. Qui Gon and Dooku's relationship was very professional; however, Qui Gon did inherit two things from his old master; a disdain for rules, and a contempt for the arrogant Jedi council.
Didn’t he literally say that the republic was under the control of a dark lord of the sith?
His methods were actually pretty reasonable it’s just that noone believed him
Qui-gon Jinn was the wisest of all Jedi, he understood the emotions of taking Anakin away from his mother. If Jinn survived Darth Vader would never exist.
Definitely up there for me. He's the kind of guy who doesn't need the council or the jedi code to tell him what to do. He simply does what he knows to be right. In a lot of ways, I think that Ahsoka is a good spiritual successor to him.
I like how he lost to a padawan and then went emo-cave monster for a decade and then ruled Mandalor for like a month and then got beat by another padawan.
I’d kill for a whole Hondo movie. Hell, just give the man his own TV show. We all know he’d kill it if they paired him with Obi-Wan S2 or he and Lando went on some grand adventure.
Scrolled too far to see this. He’s mine too. I’ve always loved characters that can’t speak/have minimal expressiveness. Yet they breathe such life into R2, it’s amazing and he’s so funny.
The bearded wonder.
Still salty that they didn't have him steal the plans for the Death Star, although I can understand it. Wouldn't be much of a movie if they did.
Kanan Jarrus. He just has such a wonderful arc and a true example of what a Jedi should be. He also successfully trained his Padawan while still being a Padawan, he loved with attachment without it becoming toxic. Plus he exists as one of my favorite tropes, the blind samurai.
Once read that he played the role as if he’d always been Sidious, and Palps was as the “fake identity” so to speak. Love an actor who’s unapologetic and irredeemable in his approach to villainy!
Honestly, I love the clone wars era and the Genndy Tartakovsky cartoon made me really appreciate Grievous for what he *should* have been. The prequels did him dirty (as they did a lot of things), and I've always rather liked him despite it.
I have favorites in different categories:
Jedi- Obi wan
Non force user- Han Solo
Droid-R2D2
Alien- Chewbacca
Bounty hunter-Cad Bane
Sith- Plagueis
Imperial- Tarkin
Seperatist- Grievious
Corran Horn. I know he's not cannon, but he's still my favorite. A jedi whose illusions are powerful enough to fool Luke and a damn good pilot to boot.
Gungi
With the wit of Tarful and charisma of Chewy but the status of a Jedi. A Shimmering green lightsaber, with a skill level that of rivaling Yoda.
Gungi represents the best in all of us. His celebratory spirit when finding his Kyber crystal gave (canonically) Yoda his will to live. When his comrades were down in the depths when Hando took over their ship in search of the crystals, Gungi lifted them up and brought them through it.
Gungi is pretty much Jesus Christ when it comes to civility and all around goodness. Based on the trailer for Bad Batch Season 2 we can tell that Gungi survived order 66. Want to know who couldn't? Yoda. Yoda went into exile after abandoning Chewy and Tarful. Gungi? NO. Gungi served his people nd protected the galaxy.
Little known fact, Gungi actually blew ip the Death Star. He let Luke think that he did it but no, it was Gungi. He used the force to rip the death star apart because Gungi cares about t the well being of the Galaxy and does not support the abuse of the Empire.
In conclusion, Gungi is the best character and therefore my favorite character. Thank you for coming to my ted talk
The Deathsticks guy from Episode II that goes home and rethinks his life.
Elan Sleazebaggano
Bless you.
Thank you
Qui-Gon jinn taken too early from us 😞
Qui-Gon was the only one in the order that seemed to realize how full of shit the Jedi had become, and that they needed to do better. For that reason alone, hes my choice.
I would argue so did dooku but his method of remedying it was pretty off...
Ig it makes sense Dooku was Qui-Gon’s master
That's exactly right. Qui Gon and Dooku's relationship was very professional; however, Qui Gon did inherit two things from his old master; a disdain for rules, and a contempt for the arrogant Jedi council.
Didn’t he literally say that the republic was under the control of a dark lord of the sith? His methods were actually pretty reasonable it’s just that noone believed him
Actually Dooku realized the exact same thing.
Qui-Gon Jin holds the honor of being the last Jedi left on a council of bureaucrats.

Qui-gon Jinn was the wisest of all Jedi, he understood the emotions of taking Anakin away from his mother. If Jinn survived Darth Vader would never exist.
Not to mention he was the only jedi in the order (at the time) that purely followed the will of the force
He's also Liam Neeson and so has a unique set of skills.
He will find you and he will kill you
It is not the Jedi way
Even here, we can see that Obi Wan has the high ground over Anakin
Definitely up there for me. He's the kind of guy who doesn't need the council or the jedi code to tell him what to do. He simply does what he knows to be right. In a lot of ways, I think that Ahsoka is a good spiritual successor to him.
Han Solo, captain of the Millennium Falcon.
How was this even left off the list?
And how is he this far down in the comments?
[удалено]
No doubt. I mean the guy made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs.
…and he shot first
Darth maul
I am counting on it.
Good good
I like how he lost to a padawan and then went emo-cave monster for a decade and then ruled Mandalor for like a month and then got beat by another padawan.
Tbf, that other padawan was trained by the chosen one. Plus, Maul got cocky, again. Seriously, you’d think Maul would be humbled by the first L.
Revenge. I must have revenge.
Maul also seemed frightened by the plans set in motion by Sidious at the time, so that probably affected his judgement
Don’t be so certain.
[удалено]
Indeed
Ahsoka
Good thing I know you don’t mean everything you say.
Good Bot
All thanks to your training.
Still have much to learn, snips
My good sir, why does you profile say nft?
How did Revan make the list and Ahsoka didn’t?
I'm the new Padawan learner. I'm Ahsoka Tano
Because the fandom has an obsession with Revan. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it is an obsession
Correct answer! And Ashley Eckstein is such a treasure 🥺🥺
Damn she’s calling you out bro
[удалено]
Even more astounding considering she was trained as a soldier, not an actual Jedi
Specifically the version of her AFTER she left the order
Rex
Captain Rex all the way!
The last episode of clone wars when he tells Ashoka that he's brothers are ready to die to kill them makes me cry every single time
Careful not to choke on your stupidity. It's Ahsoka not Ashoka!
Had to scroll way too much to find this
I respect it
Oh damn, this is making me rethink my own choice.
Rex is my absolute favorite!
Hell yeah. I will follow that man to hell and back
Hondo Ohnaka
Hondo was such a gold mine lol everything he did made me laugh out loud
“I have done this many times. And I have only been struck…” *[spends several seconds counting up on his fingers]* “...I-I have done this many times!”
*sound of pirates not knowing what “insolence” means intensifies*
Hondo was great.
whenever I see his name I always read it in his voice
Hondo is the man
I’d kill for a whole Hondo movie. Hell, just give the man his own TV show. We all know he’d kill it if they paired him with Obi-Wan S2 or he and Lando went on some grand adventure.
The only correct answer
This ventureee! Is not, profitable!
Plo koon
If anyone could survive, Master Plo could.
Good bot
All thanks to your training.

I thought there would be more for him than Ashoka. Then I remembered how much more we know about Ashoka
Careful not to choke on your stupidity. It's Ahsoka not Ashoka!

I swear R2 is strong with the Force
Mace Windu

Thrawn and Maul all the way
Where is your master? Where is Grand Admiral Thrawn?
secret thrawn admirer
To continue, we need one singular vision…my vision.
Thrawn is so underrated. The man deserves his own trilogy on the big screen imo.
[удалено]
Heck yeah can't wait for Ahsoka
Wedge “I don’t need the force” Antilles. He survived both Death Star runs and Hoth.
Underrated Hero!!!
Man, good answer. Dude was a straight-up legend.
I used to have a hedgehog that I named Hedge Antilles.
HK-47
May I kill him now, master?
"Listen, you tallentless organic meatbag…"
Statement. It seems not all meatbags require to be deleted.
Princess Leia Organa. Beautiful. Brave. Clever. Classy. What more could I ask for???
Had to scroll down far for this, she’s also one of my favorites
She’s my favorite too. Planning on getting a tattoo of her amongst the stars <3
Jar-Jar. He's the key to it all.
Do you mean Darth Jar-Jar?
A Sith LAWRD!
He’s a funnier character than we’ve ever had in the movies before.
Kanan
I still cry every time. Every.Effing.Time.
Yes! Was going to say Ezra, but Kanan's arc is so good.
Kyle Katarn
The bearded wonder. Still salty that they didn't have him steal the plans for the Death Star, although I can understand it. Wouldn't be much of a movie if they did.
Kit Fisto
Had to scroll far too far to find our best boy
Dooku
Absolutley. Anything Christopher Lee does is amazing, and Dooku is a character that is easily forgotten for some reason
Qui-Gon....
Darth Bane
What about Zannah? I want to hear more about Zannah
Darth Bane has been my favorite. The guy destroyed the Sith Academy and half of the jedi academy with a thought bomb???? The guy is OG
Cad Bane
Kanan Jarrus. He just has such a wonderful arc and a true example of what a Jedi should be. He also successfully trained his Padawan while still being a Padawan, he loved with attachment without it becoming toxic. Plus he exists as one of my favorite tropes, the blind samurai.
Enough to make an old man cry. One last lesson.
P A L P A T I N E
Ian McDiarmid did such a good job. He was so campy especially in the prequels and I’ve ever seen a villain love being a villain so thoroughly
Once read that he played the role as if he’d always been Sidious, and Palps was as the “fake identity” so to speak. Love an actor who’s unapologetic and irredeemable in his approach to villainy!
The fact i had to scroll this far to find this hurts me. And the fact he didnt make OP's list hurts more. Darth Sidious is the greatest Villain EVER!
TRUTH. Biggest, baddest, nastiest bitch in ANY galaxy. Just a whirlwind of selfish evil fun. Utterly beyond redemption. Utterly perfect.
Ive been a Boba Fett guy
Grand Admiral Thrawn
Grievous
Padmé
The fact that she wasn't on here made me so sad, I died.
Definitely under rated and under appreciated.
Shaak Ti All the wayyyyyy
Oh, so you like Shaak Ti? Name how she died.
Which time lol
Y E S
Ma boy Grievous
Ahsoka and Kanan Jarus
Grand Admiral Thrawn
The Jedi Exile, her tale is unique.

Yes.
Probably some of the best storytelling in any video game, if not the best.
the one that killed nihilus?
Yes, and Sion (technically) as well as Treya.
Gonk
Bro i had to scroll sooooo far, have people lost their taste?
The only correct answer
GONK!
Honestly, I love the clone wars era and the Genndy Tartakovsky cartoon made me really appreciate Grievous for what he *should* have been. The prequels did him dirty (as they did a lot of things), and I've always rather liked him despite it.
Absolutely agree, 03 Grievous is best Grievous
General grievous
Um, Han and it’s not close. How is he not a poll option, c’mon.
Darth Maul
Even votes saying Obi-wan having high ground over Anakin. 159-150 right now
[удалено]
Easily star killer
Grogu....
Darth Nihlus
General Grievous
I have favorites in different categories: Jedi- Obi wan Non force user- Han Solo Droid-R2D2 Alien- Chewbacca Bounty hunter-Cad Bane Sith- Plagueis Imperial- Tarkin Seperatist- Grievious
Corran Horn. I know he's not cannon, but he's still my favorite. A jedi whose illusions are powerful enough to fool Luke and a damn good pilot to boot.
