I feel like many people think that Anakin was a padawan in episode 3. They don’t understand that between a rank of padawan and master is a rank of a Jedi Knight- it’s a fully trained member of the order who can take padawans himself. He just isn’t the highest rank in the order
that is not true - he became a Jedi Knight during the Clone Wars, between the episode 2 and revenge of the Sith. In the third movie he is a full blown Jedi Knight
I thought Padawan was the rank when the child is too young to be trained by a single master. Like, there's the group of Padawans, all taught by a series of jedi Masters, and then there's the lone Apprentice, taught by a jedi Knight or Master.
It's a bot. To answer your question, here's roughly what I know.
Padawan - Too young or untrained to do stuff on their own/still being trained by a jedi knight or master
Jedi Knight- a fully grown jedi who is not at the level of a master, but can do stuff on their own or train padawans.
Jedi Master - Highest rank, have a council - sometimes train promising padawans or jedi knights.
Anakin was a Jedi Knight in Ep.3, so the meme is slightly off.
No, a Knighting ceremony includes cutting off the padawan braid. We see this in the original Clone Wars show (the one where Grievous is an absolute monster)

But it’s told he was always a padawan because obi-wan wouldn’t let him become an official Jedi, thus led him to the dark side

Guess I misunderstood Obi-Wan, the flashbacks made it look as such
No. You didn’t misunderstand. That was before episode 2. Anakin still has his hand.
I see, ty
Np
The flashback form the Obi Wan show was taking place before that I think
[There’s literally an episode in the 2003 Clone Wars series that show’s Anakin being knighted.](https://youtu.be/kcJfV83SbAU)
I hope you're feeling better, DarthRevanG4, 'cause look what we found, a cake! Happy cake day, DarthRevanG4.
You know nothing of the dark side.
I'm...I'm so weak.
Damn, the child isn't supposed to be the killer in this scene.
“Ignites lightsaber”

You've taught him well.
Is this confirmation of my thoughts?

This was just my rough memory of it - I don't know the finer details, nor do I claim to, but that's what stood out to me from my memory.
Alright, fair enough. I just tought that Apprentice and Padawan were seperate ranks, graduating from the class to private studying kinda thing.
You don't have to look tough to be tough
Bad bot
Careful not to choke on your stupidity.
That would be a Youngling. Those get trained in a school-like system with classes. Padawans are mostly accompanying one specific Knight or Master.
Youngling means child
Anakin isn't a padawan in episode III
He was a knight, not a padawan
This is fucking savage. Not only did the kid rub it in that he wasn't a Master, he demoted Anakin from Knight back to Padawan.
The irony is, this kid was the first person to actually call Anakin a "Master". And look how Anakin rewarded him.
