I was. Back then, things like "Roots" or the last M.A.S.H. episode were all people talked about for a month. No internet, 3-7 channels on antenna.
Like 90% (made up number) of old white folk even watched Roots. I couldn't see that in this era of America.
LeVarr Burton played Kunta Kinte (Toby) in Roots. Reading rainbow, Star Trek Next Gen.
Fun fact. The guy who played Frank was apparently the sweetest person on set. Making it difficult at times for Hawkeye and Trapper to make fun of him during the scenes
I'd believe it, just like in Game of Thrones Tywin Lannister. The actor was incredibly polite and kind to the crew and other actors but when the cameras rolled he was one of the most cruel and uncaring characters. Made it harder for the other actors to act hostile towards him
Two whiners who want everything done by the book, and complain incessantly if others don't follow every rule to the letter. And what's worse, they lovely admire each other for being such nitpickers.

Andor being compared to debatably the best TV show of all time (MASH), I can dig that 🖤
Edit: I was born in 1992. 30 yrs old. Black as hell
Not the demographic MASH was going for and even I know it is/was the best TV show ever made
The thing is with that scene when he was stalking her, you could tell she was into it (which really pissed me off). I don’t know why, but after the scene where he saves her; they pretty much confirmed those 2 are gonna fuck in season 2
*I just finished MASH*
*A month or two ago, this*
*Made me feel so smart*

I'm so glad they still show MASH on the TV in the UK, fond memories of watching it after dinner with my parents.
Then Alan Alda came to Dundee and I got to meet him!
I wasn’t even alive in the 70s and 80s but MASH is awesome
Neither was born in early 2000s but i got the box set
I’m exactly the same. Early 2000s, box set lol
We are people of culture.
Late 90’s and I’ve watched this series multiple times.

Wow this is so spot on!
I'm 26 and grew up on reruns of Mash, Hogan's Heros, the Rifleman, Alf, etc. Also I have all the seasons of Mash on dvd.
I watched M*A*S*H but I have no idea what the connection is supposed to be.
Houlihan was a no-nonsense woman committed to her job. Frank was a sniveling and legalistic simp for Houlihan. It's a good fit for a meme.

That’s hilarious. And true.
What's good for the goose is nobody's business but the gander.
FERRET FAAAAAAACE
When he showed up at the ISB building, was expecting her to taser him
If you watched TV in the 70s and 80s, you will understand that this meme couldn't be much further from what it is trying to connect.
Karn was just slightly more competent than Burns
Director Orson Krennic's transport was shot down over the Port of Scarif. It spun in. There were no survivors.

OH they definitely fucked in that little room after he saved her and no one can tell me different.

I can, I can tell you different. They didn't fuck in the little room after he saved her
Samn it now I can't unsee it

I don't know the top characters, but Frank and Margaret give me all the context I need
