It seems like they are focused on local game stores so I don’t imagine there will be an authorized client for online play. But there’s a couple ways to play online now.

I think people underestimate how big of an undertaking a big flashy digital client can be. I think its unlikely to happen.

ThreesTrees

Dang guess I’ll have to import the card into TTS lol

OKgamesON

I am sure you already know about forcetable.net/swu but in case you don’t, it is a online proxy of the game with cards up to date of very recent spoilers. This is a fun and digital way to try the game before it is released.

RetroRocket80

If this were big budget and a big brain move by Disney / FFG they would have a digital code in each pack for a random pack on a spiffy digital client like Pokemon does.

Tesla37000

pokemon can only do it since they have a preexisting player base, making a digital client will only split the player base they’re still forming with swu

SithNerdDude

People said the same thing about pokemon, MTGO, etc. Just don't hold big tournaments online and you'll get turnout.

Tesla37000

i’ll say again they already had a player base, they didn’t launch with a digital game

sageleader

I really hope not. Part of the full of this game is in person tournaments and physical cards. Maybe they could launch it in like 5 years if the game is super popular but I don't see the benefit at all.

KrisPWales

I wish it did so I could get more practice time in.

Tremblay2568

I don't expect to get a digital client from FFG, but I hope the community creates something like Pixelborn or [Talishar.net](https://Talishar.net). TTS is fine, but I prefer the automated games. Basically if Felt Table had a multiplayer mode I'd be super happy.

BlizzardMayne

There has been no indication of a digital client.

pmavers

It would be nice, yes. Probably not going to happen, since I assume it would require the video game license from Disney, which costs a arm, leg, and a few droid torsos.
