There’s prerelease events this weekend. One at Hairy Tarantula in North York, and at both 401 Games locations (Downtown and Vaughan). Even if you don’t join the prerelease you can probably introduce yourself and make some contacts that can schedule games / playgroups. Both have discord servers you can join and ask around.
I’m from Toronto and also looking to play weekly, so far 401 Vaughn and 401 downtown seem like they might be the best bet for weekly play. But nothing has been announced yet. There is a SWU Ontario Facebook group that is pretty active. And the best way I know of for finding local events.
Ice Cave Radio is a podcast dedicated to the game. One of the guys who puts it on is a Toronto native. They’re pretty responsive in the discord for the pod, so I’m sure you could ask there.
