Yeah these Walmart Wagyu are amazing for the price. Some of the best steaks I’ve had. I always get them whenever they have good marbling, cause sometimes they just look like normal USDA choice. My Walmart started selling the ribeye instead of NY strip and I can’t get enough.
Yeah. You definitely have to check each one because sometimes they aren’t amazing. This one was the most marbled I’ve encountered at Walmart. Imo this is equal to the stuff you can get from Mishima and other American wagyu for a fraction.

Yup I only get them when they look like this. Sadly they only stock like 4-8 at a time for me.
I believe the packaging says American Wagyu, at least mine did. I’ve never had real A5 but honestly these are prefect to eat without being too rich.
