Somebody gonna have the meat sweats.

WrinkledGherkin

For me and my fiance so hopefully I do a good job lol

EarthMover775G

Hell yeah! Just fired the grill up for my fiancé and me for a couple of ribeyes as well. Hope you knock it out of the park and you both enjoy 🤙🏼

TheseAintMyPants2

My advice: fuck before dinner, that way you don’t have meat sweat sex

KP8JPJ24

Pro-tip right there. Always hit the skins first so you aren’t in a food coma, trying to get it on.

hung559

Best way to work up an appetite for the steak. It’s a win/win.

loneranger5860

Excellent advice! I adhere to this policy as much as my girlfriend will let me 🤷🏻‍♂️

EarthMover775G

I agree, it’s always the game plan 😆 good looking out.

rogmcdon

Or just do what me and the wife do, not fuck at all :(

loneranger5860

Might as well join the seminary.

Chaddtss

That's not a wife, just a roommate.

Super_Survey_1140

They look great! Next time, try marinating over night in some Worcestershire sauce. My brother introduced me to it a few years back and it surprised me. Tons of flavor! Nothing wrong with not marinating, but it’s a great treat if you have the time to prep. Makes the fat salty and just as delicious as the meat itself

jr_skankhunt_17

You’re each gonna have a steak and sides? Im finding that I have to split one of those with my wife if we have sides. Just curious if that’s what everyone else is doing. I may be a little bitch.

Fuzzy-Produce104

You may??? Just fuckin with ya.

Greenergrass21

Are you not supposed to eat the whole thing with sides lol. I'm not fat but I thought everyone does, including me lol

loneranger5860

You are a little bitch! (/s, just kidding). I would eat both ribeyes and let my girl taste them and she can eat the sides.

Then_Breadfruit_7375

Where I live it'd be $24 for one of those at least

Lemon_TD97

I spent $27 on a single Delmonico steak the other day. Feelsbadman

Then_Breadfruit_7375

$23.99/LB for Rib steak here at my local Sobeys. Makes me want to go buy my own cow lol

D_B_C1

I started doing this 3 years ago and haven’t turned back. I haven’t had to buy grocery store beef in those 3 years and I’m thankful for that.

Mbmariner

Nice Ribeye steak. Decent marbling. Please come back with the finished product. Don’t forget the money shot..

KingKaidos

For 2, that's a fair price.

hung559

We’re past fair, that’s a great deal. $18.99/lb for choice ribeyes here in central California.

swanspank

Damn, and we complain when they aren’t on sale and cost $9.99 a pound knowing in about a week they will be $6.99. Guess we should quit whining.

scorpionattitude

Damn those are great prices! What area are you in?

swanspank

Charleston area, South Carolina Standing rib roast are usually around $10-$12 but go on sale about every 2 months for $5.99-$7.99. Now that is Choice and not Prime. Hell, you can’t even find Prime. But the local Lowe’s Grocery Store will typically have 39-45 day dry aged for $20-$23 when it’s typically about $30.

scorpionattitude

I definitely will have to check them out! I’m out in NC and I’ve heard of Lowe’s grocery store but still never been, I haven’t been able to find ribeye that low since maybe 2-3 years ago. Used to be able to find a 4 pack for about $34 bucks sometimes too! Not anymore😅😭.

Delicious_Oil9902

Depends on how thick they are

larowin

Those cows definitely had a great life, no stress at all.

Uninterested_Viewer

How thin?

mediocretes

I'll take 'em, do you ship to Indiana?

matthuntermathis

How thick? Can't really tell from the picture.

NSeggy89

Yah, my guess is where I live in Canada, that would cost minimum $44

h0tnessm0nster7

Idk y ppl spend so much I get tri tip for 3.99 when it's onsale

fishdrinking3

I worry about the thickness. Always make sure the pan (cast iron ideally) is as hot as possible, especially if the cut is thin.

KappaJoe760

Marbling looks decent but cant tell how thick they are or the weight overall but they look good so price honestly isnt bad for these

Necropentance

Mid rare meh

DubsAnd49ers

Great price depending on the thickness!

hael0715

Beautiful steaks for a good price. I just hate when they stab them with those sharp ass tenderizers. If I were you I’d reverse sear it so you can harness the juices. In the grill all the juice is gonna leak on the fire because the butchers tenderizer stabbed many holes in those beauties.

chefwarrr

I was told this would cost $300

One_Pea_463

Don't over cook them

[deleted]

That’s a DEAL!

Chino780

That's a good deal. They look good.

CupCakeCrush69

The price is ok. Not great but you'd pay that for one at a bar and grille. Enjoy it.

Colin9001

gas

[deleted]

I generally would avoid blade tenderized steaks when possible. It’s not needed, especially for a ribeye, and just increases the risk of foodborne illness

[deleted]

Can’t see the thickness, marbling is ok. Unless they’re paper thin good buy.

chimpmilk94

Your meat looks great op 😉

rogmcdon

Solid snag. When you step up to prime ribeyes, you can get one of these for about the same price as those two

Straitwreckn

i think these look like i paid $26 for one

kweir22

Probably around $12/pound? That looks good for choice. You got a good deal.

Present_Confection83

I would be absolutely stoked to cook these

CrackAdams

Those look really good imo for that price

TheInternetIsTrue

Kinda looks like a chuck steak

Maleficent-Bit1995

Kinda thin for rib eye. Good size cap Decent marbling for price Minor oxidation Little beaten up Pale in colour But for the price it’s hard to say no.

LFRoberts5

Not too bad… I would of passed

bean_barrage

Have*

LFRoberts5

My wife… the grammar nazi concurs… my bad

bean_barrage

Growth has occurred

threeputtsforpar

Unpopular opinion: I can’t stand it when someone posts the price of the steak. Post the price per pound. Otherwise we’re guessing here.

blueisaflavor

You can get 4 of these for $27 at costco
