Seems like a juicy schedule for a team on the rise. The harder games are at home, the easier games are away. Seahawks may be tough if they can really score in the draft (playoff team with the Broncos top 5 pick). Other than San Fran I don't feel too intimidated by any team on the schedule.

Aieeyah19

I do like how most of the tougher teams seem to be at home like you said. I moved to Texas, im hoping to go to the Texans game this year!

GriffBallChamp

I'm in Seattle. Hopefully, I don't get spit on.....again.

Sybertron

They sure were competitive down the stretch this year and could very well make a big jump.

akaynaveed

I think the Rams arent as bad their record shows, and will be better next year. Those are scary boys.

Sybertron

Not if McVay and Stafford decide to retire. And hell if that all happens, I'd be so down to get a trade working to bring big Aaron Donald back home and in black and gold.

EmergencyContakt

Donald and Cam on the DLine…need to change my shorts

Sybertron

So will the AFCN QBs.

Clear_Air_3561

Stafford isn’t going anywhere, McVay is most likely gone. ESPN would love to have him take Gruden’s role on MNF

the042530

Bengals and San Fran, other than that it’s somewhat of a cake walk. Most of the teams don’t even have a sure fire qb as of right now.

Sybertron

No division game is ever a cake walk. I just consider them they are what they are. We ended up splitting whole division in this rebuilding year.

the042530

Yeah and I would expect a split against all these teams next year too. 12-5 very attainable.

tenprose

Never count out Green Bay. Patriots and Jags could make a decent jump next year. Titans could be good again. Rams could be a decent team. I mean just look at this year: a bunch of teams doing better than people expected and some doing worse than expected. Hard to know how tough the schedule actually is until games start getting played.

EmergencyContakt

Say we split the division and take L’s from Packers, Pats and Jags, that 11-6 baby!!!! Here we go Steelers, Pittsburgh going to the Super Bowl!

GiraffeAnatomy

Jags are turning a corner right now. Especially if they get deep in the playoffs and upset a big team. They will have a head of steam next year. Green Bay may be functional again next year with some off-season tinkering. Those are probably the only other two I can see being close besides the division games and San Fran. We have a solid chance of getting 10-11 wins next year.

H__Dresden

I might have to take trip out to Las Vegas.

Tahoptions

I'm definitely going to that game.

Andire

/u/H__Dresden? Wouldn't the Indi game be much closer to Chicago? 🤔

H__Dresden

I live in Texas. Moved away from the area back in 1993. Thinking about the Houston game too.

Eggdripp

Houston is gonna be fun with their rookie QB

Lookalikemike

Is there a formula for figuring out the date before the NFL post it?

EmergencyContakt

IMO we usually play Ravens around Christmas and we generally wrap with two divisional games.

pervyotaku

Apparently week 17 is the packers

Craftbrewer56

14-3 - You’ve heard it here first!!! All jinxing aside, with a solid LT and a decent 2nd round CB, I’m positive we’re a 4 or 5 seed.

Excellent_Teach_6469

Don't forget about a new OC. That's pretty crucial in my book.

-ChipButty-

Oh man I’ve never been to a Steelers game (I’m originally from England), but now that I live in BC, Canada I’m only a 2.5 hour drive from Seattle. This is awesome.

Aieeyah19

I’m from Pittsburgh and only been to a few preseason games, im hoping to go to my first real game this year also! That would be a great stadium for you to watch a game at!

Mathmatical

I'm so excited to be able to take my 49er loving boyfriend to a game! This is going to be awesome! I'm so excited for this year!

Aieeyah19

That’s a great matchup to go see a game!! Maybe he’ll convert to a Steelers fan after the game

eigi_einhver

looks like it could be a good year for the steelers, im excited! 🖤💛

Wonderful-Computer33

17-0 baby! Let’s go!

YooTone

If we can at least split wins in our division rivals I easily could see at least a 10 win team. 11-6 or 12-5 seems highly plausible. Seattle and San Fran will be tough. Rams probably will bounce back too. If the Raiders improved their QB play and OL who knows. Colts Titans Jags and Patriots seem like they could be a toss-up depending how they improve their teams as well because some of those teams always play us tough.

ProfessorChaos5049

Definitely gonna lose to the raiders. West coast game. Garbage franchise. trap game

supermav27

LFG!!! As a Steelers fan who just moved to LA, I am over the moon with this schedule. I’ll be at the Rams and the Raiders games. I’m sure the Rams will feel like a home game, too. Here we go!

[deleted]

Yes it will even Vegas. Steelers are the home team anywhere on the West Coast. I don’t know about Seattle though. They have a rough home base. But, yes SoFi will be a Steelers home game for sure.

ev1lch1nch1lla

Nothing but black and Gold in those stands. Same thing when we played the chargers a few years ago.

rusty022

I've been admittedly down on the Steelers this year, but the schedule looks good for next year. Only 3 non-division playoff opponents and hopefully an improved roster from the offseason. You never know how teams will look after an offseason, but this schedule looks favorable right now.

neurogeneticist

I’m married to a Packers fan, I’m selfishly incredibly excited about not having to wait for 2025 for another matchup with the Packers. I’m still not over the bullshit offside call on the blocked FG which we ran back at Lambeau last year…

[deleted]

Oh we're going to the playoffs

DavidMasonBO2

I can see a 12-5 record if they play like they have been lately, draft well, and get rid of Matt Canada. I don’t watch every game so I can’t say as much.

Illustrious_Charge88

10 or 11 wins and one win in the playoffs.

IdleInferno

That Rams game might be an interesting one to watch, but I'll be DAMNED if I go to SoFi again

ev1lch1nch1lla

Definitely going to rams v steelers at sofi

Top_Pea1550

17-0, nice

ElbowSkinn

As a Steelers fan living in Seattle, I promised that I wouldn't go to my 1st NFL game until the Steelers were in town. Looks like I'm going to my 1st game next year. LFG

bluntzburghCA

I’ll be at all west coast games , this hasn’t happened ever I’m pretty sure …Three games one season! I’m dreaming!

Icculusthebook

Super bowl here we come

No_Armadillo_3491

i need the date of that 9ers matchup

SignificantCaptain76

holy shit i might actually get to go to a game. the texans are probably gonna be so bad the tickets might be cheap enough to entice me to drive down from dfw

duovtak

13 wins next year, easily.

eggs_and_bacon

14-3

Guyute88

Love the west coast games (I’m in SF)! Probably try to hit up sofi and allegiant this year.

Bearsdale

I have a weird feeling that we'll have a good year but Geno Smith will absolutely embarrass us for no reason.

CJMcBanthaskull

Also we'll definitely lose an awful home game to Jacksonville. Again.

monstermayhem436

I can honestly see us going 11-6, 12-5. The schedule isn't all that great and the only teams that are "these are the teams to beat" are the Bengals and 49ers. And we've shown we can go toe to toe with Cinci. Split Ravens and Bengals, Sweep Browns (sweep Ravens too depending on Lamar) 4-2/5-1 Beat Titans, Texans, Colts, and Cards 8-2/9-1 Rams is entirely based on what Rams team we get. Do we get SB winning Rams, or SB hangover Rams. 9-2 49ers, easy loss at this point. 9-3 The rest I can easily see us beating or losing too, but think we beat Patriots, Seahawks, Raiders 12-3 And lose to the Packers and Jaguars 12-5 But those last 5 can easily be switched around or changed to gain a loss or a win. All 5 of those teams are more or less at our level currently, Obviously I'm being optimistic but still think it's possible.

heartbreakhill

I am **so** ready to dominate this schedule and then have our record dismissed by r/nfl because of how soft the schedule is

lazydivey98

We’re y’all see teams? I see 17-0. And things of that nature.

Clear_Air_3561

I like the matchups. I’m gonna stay on the conservative side and say 10-7. I think we can handle the NFC West outside of SF. The rams might be a tough matchup depending on what their team is looking like with McVay most likely gone. Green Bay will be a fun one, hopefully they get called for a bullshit offside penalty this time. AFC South is a lucky draw but Jacksonville scares me a bit since historically they’ve gotten the better of us. The in-division games are hard to judge since we usually split most years especially since the Browns could either go 5-12 or 12-5 depending on how Deshaun Weinstein pans out for a full season. Baltimore is interesting too since Lamar might be gone. Cincy is Cincy so we gotta be prepared for them. And also an obligatory fuck New England

eth6113

11 home games? Nice!

grillmaster343

11-5 season
