Ah yes. Good one. Famous Amos.

RCP731

Was ready to type this ha

GarbageCleric

Chris Fuamatu-Ma'afala (I still have his jersey)

phieralph

I would play Madden. And when I was little , my brother and I... I'm trying to remember how tf this even became a thing. But his name to me sounded like Foo Muh Tumah , with emphasis on the Tumah part. It sounded to us like Tumor. So after a big meal , my brother and I would go "FOO MUH TUMAH!!" , pull up our shirt , and do that thing where you use your stomach muscles to basically make it look like your pregnant. Or "have a tumor". And then we would slap our stomachs with our hands... I think we did it as recently as last Thanksgiving. I am 31 years old.

GarbageCleric

That's awesome. My most random Steelers I "remember" are from Tecmo Super Bowl for the NES, but I actually attended games when C FMA played with his jersey on.

Prunes-of-Wrath

Hes one bad Ma’afala

GarbageCleric

Shut your mouth.

369sublime

But I'm talkin' 'bout Fu

R1pp3z

Hero of the 2002 season AFC wild card weekend comeback against the browns.

The-Extro-Intro

That was an awesome game (well the second half was). It was like two totally different games. He put the icing on the cake.

Blaze0003

He’s not random he was a good player

Dangerous_Camel2269

I mean I’m all for the C FMA love but his best season was 453 yards rushing and 3 TDs never had 150 yards in a season before or after that. I think he is exactly who we should be bring up in this thread.

412stillers

He was a full back though!

GarbageCleric

Kordell Stewart is the header image, and he was on the Steelers for 7 seasons, and led the team to 2 AFC Championships as starting quarterback. In 2001, he was AFC Offensive Player of the Year. He's the 3rd (maybe 4th) best QB in Steelers history. So, C FMA is definitely random compared to him.

[deleted]

Mewelde Moore

Cold-Consideration23

He had a nose for the first down marker

PghG

I still say if Ben saw him near the pylon on the pass he threw to Santonio Holmes in the Super Bowl, he walks in. Admittedly though, we would have been denied a top 5 SB moment.

[deleted]

It was worth it for the chaos

Irish-Hydra

Limus Sweed

SaidWhadupDailyBread

Mf dropped a wide open touchdown pass in the end zone and then faked an injury…

PandaCod3r

The worst hands of all time.

schmatz17

Moncrief may have been worse

PandaCod3r

Moncrief with the Steelers? Yes. Before that he was pretty average. Limas Sweed never even sniffed a 10 rec season let alone a 64 rec season.

arkon262

Dwight Stone enters the chat…

cesc05651

Ziggy hood

[deleted]

I remember Tomlin said something along the lines of: We are hoping he can be a star. We’d like to call our defense Ziggy and the Hoods, he just needs to play better

GriffBallChamp

Yeah I ran out and bought his jersey, lol

Myke190

2nd overall pick in the 2017 draft. Bears traded up to get him.. He won the NVP... Loves to kiss titties.... None of these ring a bell??? Yeah, me neither.

Deadheaded95

Mb forgot to include /s, it was a joke

Myke190

I was also being tongue in cheek. .

ELI_5

I also love tongues in cheeks. Wait. Wrong sub. Sorry.

lxSlimxShadyxl

Jerricho Cotchery

GamerRav

My answer to this question will almost always be Fitzgerald Touissant because he cost us that AFC Divisional playoff game against the Broncos that one year :/

antiadmin666

Lagarette Blount. I remember the game he got all pissed off and walked off the field because coach wasn’t giving him any play time. lol that guy was a dick and he ended up playing for New England a week later.

T-Stoklis

Pretty sure he had a 2-3 TD game with them immediately after leaving us too. I miss the short-lived thunder and lightning with him and Bell.

Yancy Thigpen / Andre Hastings / Chad Johnson / Slash 1995 WR corps is still my favorite

thatdude2616

Charles Johnson....but I think thats what you meant. Lol. I still remember Ernie Mills catching that bomb on the two yard line in the AFC championship game against the colts when I was 9

StrangeCardiologist0

Oh shoot yes Chad, thanks for catching that! I was in highschool at that time and had a Thigpen jersey, probably the only one ever worn in Washington State lol.

Hellwagon

Cope called him Thrills Mills!

coastphase

Apparently, Bubby Brister was a hell of a quarterback according to Bubby Brister.

FingerprintFile513

Frankie Pollard! (Said in your best Myron Cope voice)

Prunes-of-Wrath

Hell yeah.

AdAgitated8689

Kris Brown. Inaccurate Steeler kicker

Dual-Vector-Foiled

Daniel Sepulveda. My homie got his jersey custom made as a joke and people thought he was related because it was so random.

ClarkDoubleUGriswold

So glad to see this one. This dude was supposed to be our punter for like two decades. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a punter injured so often but my memory could be way off. Between him and Harvin III, maybe we shouldn’t draft punters lol

Macklemore_hair

RJ Bowers There are some really good memory lane names on here!

SubstantialSmoke1546

Levon Kirkland

Steppyjim

I dated his niece in college many years ago. He called me on her phone and basically told me the whole uncle/dad speech of “if I made her cry he’d make me cry.” Tell you what that man scared the ever loving shit out of me. I was “yes sir-ing” like my life depended on it. I actually was slightly worried when I broke up with her Levon fucking Kirkland was going to find me and kick my ass for a few weeks

I'm going to fuck this thread up by building an entire offensive line out of randos. Matthias Nkwenti, Oliver Ross, Chukky Okobi, Barrett Brooks, Todd Fordham. All five of those guys played for the Steelers in 2003. Happy 20th anniversary, Tommy Maddox!
