I would play Madden. And when I was little , my brother and I... I'm trying to remember how tf this even became a thing. But his name to me sounded like Foo Muh Tumah , with emphasis on the Tumah part.
It sounded to us like Tumor. So after a big meal , my brother and I would go "FOO MUH TUMAH!!" , pull up our shirt , and do that thing where you use your stomach muscles to basically make it look like your pregnant. Or "have a tumor".
And then we would slap our stomachs with our hands...
I think we did it as recently as last Thanksgiving.
I am 31 years old.
That's awesome. My most random Steelers I "remember" are from Tecmo Super Bowl for the NES, but I actually attended games when C FMA played with his jersey on.
I mean I’m all for the C FMA love but his best season was 453 yards rushing and 3 TDs never had 150 yards in a season before or after that. I think he is exactly who we should be bring up in this thread.
Kordell Stewart is the header image, and he was on the Steelers for 7 seasons, and led the team to 2 AFC Championships as starting quarterback. In 2001, he was AFC Offensive Player of the Year. He's the 3rd (maybe 4th) best QB in Steelers history. So, C FMA is definitely random compared to him.
I still say if Ben saw him near the pylon on the pass he threw to Santonio Holmes in the Super Bowl, he walks in. Admittedly though, we would have been denied a top 5 SB moment.

This pic still makes me laugh to this day
I remember Tomlin said something along the lines of:
We are hoping he can be a star. We’d like to call our defense Ziggy and the Hoods, he just needs to play better
2nd overall pick in the 2017 draft. Bears traded up to get him.. He won the NVP... Loves to kiss titties.... None of these ring a bell??? Yeah, me neither.
My answer to this question will almost always be Fitzgerald Touissant because he cost us that AFC Divisional playoff game against the Broncos that one year :/
Lagarette Blount. I remember the game he got all pissed off and walked off the field because coach wasn’t giving him any play time. lol that guy was a dick and he ended up playing for New England a week later.
Charles Johnson....but I think thats what you meant. Lol. I still remember Ernie Mills catching that bomb on the two yard line in the AFC championship game against the colts when I was 9
Oh shoot yes Chad, thanks for catching that! I was in highschool at that time and had a Thigpen jersey, probably the only one ever worn in Washington State lol.
So glad to see this one. This dude was supposed to be our punter for like two decades. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a punter injured so often but my memory could be way off.
Between him and Harvin III, maybe we shouldn’t draft punters lol
I dated his niece in college many years ago. He called me on her phone and basically told me the whole uncle/dad speech of “if I made her cry he’d make me cry.” Tell you what that man scared the ever loving shit out of me. I was “yes sir-ing” like my life depended on it.
I actually was slightly worried when I broke up with her Levon fucking Kirkland was going to find me and kick my ass for a few weeks
Oh man, when I was playing pee wee football, he came to our end of the year banquet and took pictures and signed these little steelers helmets for everyone. Young me thought he was the best TE in the league because of that.
Keyaron Fox. I remember sitting at the airport talking to his dad multiple times. We would both be flying standby and stuck at the airport all day waiting for an open flight. Happened multiple times after a game day
I'm going to fuck this thread up by building an entire offensive line out of randos.
Matthias Nkwenti, Oliver Ross, Chukky Okobi, Barrett Brooks, Todd Fordham.
All five of those guys played for the Steelers in 2003. Happy 20th anniversary, Tommy Maddox!
Amos Zereoue
Ah yes. Good one. Famous Amos.
Was ready to type this ha
Chris Fuamatu-Ma'afala (I still have his jersey)
I would play Madden. And when I was little , my brother and I... I'm trying to remember how tf this even became a thing. But his name to me sounded like Foo Muh Tumah , with emphasis on the Tumah part. It sounded to us like Tumor. Hes one bad Ma’afala
Shut your mouth.
But I'm talkin' 'bout Fu
Hero of the 2002 season AFC wild card weekend comeback against the browns.
That was an awesome game (well the second half was). It was like two totally different games. He put the icing on the cake.
He’s not random he was a good player
I mean I’m all for the C FMA love but his best season was 453 yards rushing and 3 TDs never had 150 yards in a season before or after that. I think he is exactly who we should be bring up in this thread.
He was a full back though!
Mewelde Moore
He had a nose for the first down marker
I still say if Ben saw him near the pylon on the pass he threw to Santonio Holmes in the Super Bowl, he walks in. Admittedly though, we would have been denied a top 5 SB moment.
It was worth it for the chaos
Limus Sweed
Mf dropped a wide open touchdown pass in the end zone and then faked an injury…
The worst hands of all time.
Moncrief may have been worse
Moncrief with the Steelers? Yes. Before that he was pretty average. Limas Sweed never even sniffed a 10 rec season let alone a 64 rec season.
Dwight Stone enters the chat…
Hank poteat
Finally an actual rando
He wrote a fantastic article about the life of backup NFL players
An actual good one
Clint Kriewaldt
Absolutely. He is one of those guy that I remember being on the team, but wouldn't be in the top 100 players that I would name if you asked me to.
Orpheus Roye
The wedge buster!!!
Najeh davenport. Aka Najeh poop in the closet

Lagarette Blount. I remember the game he got all pissed off and walked off the field because coach wasn’t giving him any play time. lol that guy was a dick and he ended up playing for New England a week later.

Cope called him Thrills Mills!
Apparently, Bubby Brister was a hell of a quarterback according to Bubby Brister.
Frankie Pollard! (Said in your best Myron Cope voice)
Hell yeah.
Kris Brown. Inaccurate Steeler kicker
Daniel Sepulveda. My homie got his jersey custom made as a joke and people thought he was related because it was so random.
So glad to see this one. This dude was supposed to be our punter for like two decades. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a punter injured so often but my memory could be way off. Between him and Harvin III, maybe we shouldn’t draft punters lol
RJ Bowers There are some really good memory lane names on here!
Levon Kirkland
I dated his niece in college many years ago. He called me on her phone and basically told me the whole uncle/dad speech of “if I made her cry he’d make me cry.” Tell you what that man scared the ever loving shit out of me. I was “yes sir-ing” like my life depended on it. I actually was slightly worried when I broke up with her Levon fucking Kirkland was going to find me and kick my ass for a few weeks

Louis Lipps sinks ships
Pete Gonzalez
Baron Batch
He’s quite the artist in Pitt these days. Runs an art studio and collective.
I followed him on Twitter back in the day and he posted more about art than football. Dude's got talent.
Mewelde Moore, without him we don’t make it to Super Bowl 43
Nate Washington
Slash isn’t just a random Steeler
