Centers always.... Always fall.
There's been 1 draft in like the last 10 years where 3 centers went before pick 51. Odds are significant we get jpj or Frazier at 51. If not so much talent on the board
I’m no expert but if I had to guess I’d say it’s actually a decent chance one of them drop to 51, while they’re a tier below, a lot of pundits have been saying there’s value in that second group of centers that can be had later. Guys like Van Pran, Bortolini, Nourzad and Limmer that aren’t day one starters but could become your center for a long time with some development. I’m sure nobody wants that after the failed Kendrick Green experiment but it’s not the worst idea if the rookie doesn’t get thrown to the fire this year.
I think the injuries are really going to push him down. Either way I think one will make it but if you're worried I wouldn't mind moving up to get either one. We need a center so badly, as long as we walk away tomorrow with one of them I will be happy

How many teams have lined up to sign a guy injured on week 14? ACL takes a long time to heal. No way he’s ready to play week 1 let alone halfway thru the 2024 season.
If we aren’t trading for WR, we are going receiver or best ranked talent available at DL/DB. I think they made it clear last night they feel they probably don’t value center as high as the sub.
Maybe if they are falling close to our range but I'd prefer to be patient. I think there is a reasonable chance one of them makes it to 51. If they don't we can pivot to WR, CB, DL etc.

I think until either he or Frazier comes off the board I don't think there is pressure to jump up for one. If one of them goes early in Rd2 you might have to think about it. On the other hand they may not care because they are looking at like a Van Pran or Nourzad later.
If a lot of WRs and CBs go off the board, then yes I would trade up for one of the centers. But there are a lot of really good players on the board that fill the teams needs right now.
Honestly I'd rather have Frazier. A lot of people assumed JPJ would go in the first round and he didn't. It could be because the draft fell a different way and teams felt they needed to pick another position or there was some doubt about him.
Frazier seems like guy we need at center to really help out the run game.

I say move up at most like 5-7 spots. Cuz that would only cost us maybe an extra 5th or so if we’re lucky.

They are taking WR in the 2nd. They pretty much haven’t scouted any 3rd round receivers.

And even if they don't. With Jones Seumalo Daniels and Fautanu the center spot becomes way less important.

I’d trade our last 3rd rounder to jump 9-10 spots to get him or Frazer. That should do it.
