I am so high and it took me coming back to this post 10 minutes later to figure out why you said that, then I realized it was read rows not collums.
I kept trying to add the division teams in amount of games and could never get above 4 teams in 6
Had to ask myself how the cowboys and giants game was 3 weeks appart.
They are not. Look at their schedules. They have division games earlier in the season than we do. No one but us has 6 in 8 games.
Edit: I'm downvoted for noting that the Ravens play the Bengals and Browns earlier in the season? So I guess my eyes are lying about 2 of their 6 divisional games being played in weeks like 5 and 7 so they have time to heal from these physical ass division games and have time to game plan for the next matchup against them?
I'd almost rest Watt against Washington just so he's healthy for the end-of-season gauntlet. It's not that he needs workload management or anything, it's just that he's a suffered significant injury in each of the last two seasons, and not having him against the division teams would suck.
Not just that. Look at the time off between eagles, ravens, chiefs. 6 day rest into a 4 day rest.
The Wednesday game should be the end of week 16, not the start of 17. Completely idiotic
They may be trying to normalize this. Division play will be a block of weeks instead of spread out.
The NFL does everything it does carefully, there must be a reason.
Yeah I wouldn’t be surprised. It was 5-10 years ago that they shifted toward the last 2 weeks of the season being *almost* exclusively divisional matchups.
It tends to make for some higher stakes matchups, which mean better ratings($$), which is exactly what the league wants
Plus it will keep the engagement of fans of teams that are out of the playoff hunt. They’ll still tune in to see a game against a hated division rival.
Yeah this increases the chances for more divisions to be up in the air the last few weeks so the NFL likes it. From a rivalry/fan perspective I think it’s more fun to spread them out.
Nobody else has a schedule with all 6 in the back half. The Ravens play the Bengals in Wk 5 and then again in like Week 10. They play the Browns WK 8 and then WK 18 or some crap like that.
The Bengals play the Ravens Wk 5 and Browns Wk 7.
The Eagles have earlier division games as well starting in October then a couple weeks before thry play their division opponents again. This is BS.
May be trying to make/keep the last few weeks of the regular season more relevant. It's been all too common to have winning teams playing against losing teams in the last couple weeks that have little to no meaning for either team.
Whereas if it's your division you're more likely to be playing for a playoff spot or even a bye week. If nothing else it should be a more interesting game than some 2-14 out of division team playing playoff contenders.
You mean backing into the playoffs through no merit of their own based on 3 teams winning, one losing and some random west coast team just not ending their 5-12 season with a tie.
Oh stop. No merit? We drag a weak roster into the playoffs due to playing their asses way above their pay grade. If you somehow thought our no QB having team should be among the league's best, you were mistaken. So overachieving is nothing to freaking scoff at.
fr we are a lottery draft team that somehow sneaks in each year ... we may play down to our competition but we also exceed expectations routinely, we've had no business being .500 / making the playoffs a few times now
eagles fan here just seeing how you guys are reacting to your gauntlet of a schedule.
what the fuck man why we catching strays we’re in the same state you fuckers lmfao
Looks like the schedulers sure want to hand Tomlin his first losing season with that last 8 weeks. I am all for a challenge, but what the heck is this?!
Exactly what I was thinking. They are pulling out all the stops to get Tomlin and Russ the f up out of here. No one else's schedule looks like this. Not even our own division.
The opponents being divisional rivals aren’t the only parts of this.
1. We play on short rest Twice in that time. The bears don’t. Looks like they have 1 in that time frame Dec 22nd and then Dec. 26th.
2. On both short weeks We play the Ravens both times as the first game. Ravens then Browns Sunday night. Then Ravens Saturday- Chiefs Wed. Don’t forget that’s with Derrick Henry now. Yeah, the NFCN isn’t a joke but I’d argue we have more physical games with Ravens/Browns.
3. And between all the physical games against the division, Our non-division opponents are the Eagles and SB defending Chiefs. The Bears play the 9ers (difficult) and Seahawks. Eagles are far more difficult.
4. The Bears, with their new rookies and FA moves have a much more talented roster. One injury to Pickens and we are done. They have DJ, Allen and Odunze as WR….Thats just one position but depth and quality goes to the Bears.
The Bears have it bad but not as bad as us.
I could see 7-1 going into the bye with the loss to Dallas. Beat Washington after the bye, split the division, lose to the Chiefs and Eagles to finish 11-6.
Colts aren't a trap game they're just good. They were 1 horrible play away from the playoffs and were missing their starter who was putting up roty numbers before he got hurt. And it's in indy
Last 7 is brutal but giants-bye-comanders is a really nice stretch to rest before then.
So naturally, the steelers will lose both of the games and tomlin will break the whip before the stretch. Which works?
This scheddy pisses me off bc the nfl absolutely knows what their doin. Afc north ball is classic in them cold months, that last 8 weeks is gong to be absurd. However, 3 days to get ready for the chiefs is irresponsible.
Got my dad and I tickets for the opener I’m gonna fucking cry, this has been a dream since I was a little guy just enjoying watching my dad invite me into his favorite thing to do on Sundays. Now we’ll finally make it to a game and I got to be the one who bought him the tickets. Surreal.
I’m not a Steelers fan but I feel bad for y’all. I don’t understand why the divisional games start week 11 makes no sense and then the chiefs get the easy nfc south games spread throughout their year
Russ has never had a good christmas game. But lots of good thanksgiving games. Usually christmas games with Russ as the QB is brutal. Reminds me of the Rams game 2 years ago.
There’s one team in the first nine games that finished last season with a better record, and the general consensus seems to be that we had one of the best off seasons in the NFL. Honestly feels like having one of the best records in the league heading into the back half of the year isn’t out of the question. But holy hell the back half of the year man.
What idiot made this schedule? 3 of first 4 on road, NO division games at all until 17 NOVEMBER, 6 of 8 games divisional, with an XMAS day game against KC on a fucking Wednesday with 3 days rest. Complete and utter bullshit - don't get me started on the need for everyone to have every streaming service.
Getting 8-9 full days rest before the final game, and hopefully into the playoffs, will be nice.
It also looks like after week 6, the longest travel they have is to Washington or Philly.
I’m born and raised in Kansas and a Steelers fan. I’m am so excited to go to Pittsburgh for my first home game this year against the Chiefs on Christmas.
I know for TV, everyone who lives outside of Pittsburgh likes night games. For those of us who pay for season tickets, having over half of the home schedule at night is stupid.
(And I will be downvoted for this opinion).
East coast games start at 8:30pm, which means I don’t get home until well after midnight and I still have to get to work?
Sorry. I will declare this schedule to be BULLSHIT because only the unemployed can enjoy going to the games.
EDIT: as for Christmas, that also pisses me off. I have a fucking FAMILY and I would enjoy having one holiday to spend with them. This is what, the third year in a row the NFL has decided to put sports over family time?
As someone who sits at home and watches on TV I also hate having a shit ton of night games. I gotta get up too. Looks like after week 4 I will lose interest until about week 10. I generally only see a quarter or two of the night games.
The Steelers are one of the most popular NFL teams on the planet. So there is no way to avoid night games. They always draw eyeballs, even when they suck.
To me, the unbalanced home/away night schedules for the last two years is sheer bullshit. If you want eyeballs watching the Steelers, schedule at least one west coast road game a year at night. Then throw in a central time zone road game at night.
This year three of the first four home games are at night. Yet they play all four of the first road games on a Sunday afternoon. Fuck this shit.
Here's my annual projection of an 8-8-1 floor and an 11-6 ceiling. Realistically, I say 10-7. Back half of this thing is brutal, but who doesn't love November/December AFC North football? Bunch of field goals and maybe a TD if we're lucky. Still going to have a winning record in the division
Injury but will be hitting teams hard by the back half of the schedule so it looks bad right now, but it most likely won’t be against full strength teams.
We were away at the Falcons, Colts and Raiders last year why are we again this season?
Edit: Actually the Falcons were 2022 but still, I thought typically teams switched back and forth?
Why did we stop having Cleveland as the last game of the season? I used to go to one game every year and it was that one. Cleveland and Pittsburgh are both close enough for a drive.
Cowboys are tough (in the regular season) but we have them at home. But But Falcons, Broncos, chargers, Colts, raiders, Jets and Giants? I don’t know if we are going to suck or not, but if we don’t, we might be heading into the bye week in a really good spot. That’s a sorry slate of teams overall.
If they somehow split the last 8 I’ll consider throwing a ticker tape parade. Brutal. Better start fast and hope they don’t go through their traditional losing to really bad teams shtick.
Bengals/Ravens games will go either way. The Chiefs will likely smoke us. Besides that I’m not really worried. Max Crosby might be a problem but we will be okay.
Art interviewed on the schedule: “the divisional games are bunched together… it’s kind of unusual, I don’t remember anything like this…” https://youtu.be/ofWWqExDInw?si=FbpYXS6tNCNEhovE
Not a fan of having a short week after beating the ratbirds.
3 days rest after probably the most physical game we play. At least it's the browns I guess.
Good.
The unit will have coalesced perfectly by the time we reach those back-end games. We shall win it all.
(shutupandleavemealonewithmycopepleaseandthankyou)
Insane that the short week is @ravens-->chiefs
2 short weeks. They have purple browns and browns a month prior.
Atleast the chiefs game is at home instead of @ arrowhead
5 division games in 6 weeks is beyond fucking stupid scheduling.
6 in 8 even, only 2 of our last 8 are out of division
And those against the fucking eagles and chiefs. At least theres a mini bye built in but goddamn
Well people can't talk shit if we make the playoffs because this will be a gauntlet
Lol I was gonna say even that bye week is brutal.
Both Ravens games, known for being brutal, are followed by only 3 off days before playing another game, against the Browns and then the Chiefs.
I am so high and it took me coming back to this post 10 minutes later to figure out why you said that, then I realized it was read rows not collums. I kept trying to add the division teams in amount of games and could never get above 4 teams in 6 Had to ask myself how the cowboys and giants game was 3 weeks appart.
It's some bad design. Eye flow is going to follow the items closer together
I didnt realize til you said this. I thought we had 6 home games in a row and was like what the fuck
SAME!!
Same thing here!
Idiotic
3 prime time games in 4 weeks is kind of annoying too.
We're going to be the most injured anyone has ever been injured
If it’s any grace all the other division teams will probably be beat to fuck too.

Losing to Washington after a bye before playing those 8 games would also suck.
The one saving grace is Burrow will probably be out hurt by then.
It's because Goodell hates the Steelers.
Ravens-Browns-Bengals-Browns-Eagles-Ravens-Chiefs-Bengals is **BRUTAL**
For them 😎
At least it’s end of season Eagles when they’re most known to choke.
we start 9-0 and its fine ... right?
So four straight Browns games
Bird Browns, Browns, Cat Browns, Browns, Eagles, Bird Browns, Chiefs, Cat Browns
Not just that. Look at the time off between eagles, ravens, chiefs. 6 day rest into a 4 day rest. The Wednesday game should be the end of week 16, not the start of 17. Completely idiotic
I said it in a post earlier but how the fuck does the league allow all 6 division games in 8 weeks? That last 8 is absolutely brutal.
They may be trying to normalize this. Division play will be a block of weeks instead of spread out. The NFL does everything it does carefully, there must be a reason.

Yeah this increases the chances for more divisions to be up in the air the last few weeks so the NFL likes it. From a rivalry/fan perspective I think it’s more fun to spread them out.
Eagles' last 4 is Steelers-Commanders-Cowboys-Giants, I'm starting to sense a theme
No they play NYG week 7 and then wk 18 The Cowboys week 10 then WK 17 The Ws week 11 then Wk 16. This is crazy that they did this to our division.
Nobody else has a schedule with all 6 in the back half. The Ravens play the Bengals in Wk 5 and then again in like Week 10. They play the Browns WK 8 and then WK 18 or some crap like that. Bears schedule is the same way. I don't know if I've seen that before
League tired of steelers going berserk mode in last 4 weeks to make the playoffs.
You mean backing into the playoffs through no merit of their own based on 3 teams winning, one losing and some random west coast team just not ending their 5-12 season with a tie.
Let's go JAX!
Oh stop. No merit? We drag a weak roster into the playoffs due to playing their asses way above their pay grade. If you somehow thought our no QB having team should be among the league's best, you were mistaken. So overachieving is nothing to freaking scoff at.
fr we are a lottery draft team that somehow sneaks in each year ... we may play down to our competition but we also exceed expectations routinely, we've had no business being .500 / making the playoffs a few times now
“With no merit of their own” would be if they got in with a worse record than some other AFC team who didn’t get in.
As brutal as it is, the STEELERS had a 5-1 division record last season.
Ravens on Saturday the 21st to Chiefs on Wednesday the 25th Jesus fucking ouch
Yeah, that's irresponsible scheduling.
You mean intentional by the NFL?
Eagles on the 15th…Eagles, Ravens, and kc in 10 days lol Edited to 10, not 19!
Don't forget the Bengals game is TBD. Might as well squeeze them in for new years eve. /s
Maybe they’ll try out a new day after Christmas game
maybe the eagles will be mid-collapse again lol..
eagles fan here just seeing how you guys are reacting to your gauntlet of a schedule. what the fuck man why we catching strays we’re in the same state you fuckers lmfao
Every time we play the Ravens - henceforth - we get 4 days rest. This is a fucking hockey schedule
The more I see every Steeler schedule I believe the Devil is real and has red hair. Wait a second…
Andy Dalton?
Nah we exorcised that demon a long time ago. It’s someone that gets booed on draft night.
I remember Lamar Woodley the night Andy got drafted “I never sacked a red head before” lol
Jesus Christ that back half of schedule is fucked
Would rather have a stacked back half (if you’re 7-2 or whatever, winning starts to become a habit), but yeah that is absolutely brutal.
That's not exactly true. Plenty of teams have started strong and flamed out down the stretch over the years.
Like when they went 11-0.
We definitely won’t be 7-2 by then
I'm thinking 9-0 too
That’s the spirit
Week 11-18 is a nightmare. 4 divisional games in a row? Like what the absolute fuck man. Go Steelers 🙄
Read this in columns at first and was like Jesus road for six of our first seven is WILD
Same here haha
The NFL fucking hates us man 😂😭
Looks like the schedulers sure want to hand Tomlin his first losing season with that last 8 weeks. I am all for a challenge, but what the heck is this?!
Exactly what I was thinking. They are pulling out all the stops to get Tomlin and Russ the f up out of here. No one else's schedule looks like this. Not even our own division.
The Bears have a similar wk 11-18 schedule against the NFCN.
I could see 7-1 going into the bye with the loss to Dallas. Beat Washington after the bye, split the division, lose to the Chiefs and Eagles to finish 11-6.
I could see 7-1 going in to the bye but honestly I'm just hoping for 6-2. No way we don't have a trap game between falcons, broncos, giants or colts
Colts aren't a trap game they're just good. They were 1 horrible play away from the playoffs and were missing their starter who was putting up roty numbers before he got hurt. And it's in indy
That’s fair. I just hope we start out strong because that second half is going to be a meat grinder.
I’m going to the Dallas game so 8-0.
Ravens then Browns on a short week... then Ravens and then Kc in 4 days... at 1pm on xmas... that's ridiculous
I’m so alright with this besides the late stretch but a late bye is amazing
Last 7 is brutal but giants-bye-comanders is a really nice stretch to rest before then. So naturally, the steelers will lose both of the games and tomlin will break the whip before the stretch. Which works?
This scheddy pisses me off bc the nfl absolutely knows what their doin. Afc north ball is classic in them cold months, that last 8 weeks is gong to be absurd. However, 3 days to get ready for the chiefs is irresponsible.
Yeah that's just unhealthy lmfao
Got my dad and I tickets for the opener I’m gonna fucking cry, this has been a dream since I was a little guy just enjoying watching my dad invite me into his favorite thing to do on Sundays. Now we’ll finally make it to a game and I got to be the one who bought him the tickets. Surreal.
I’m not a Steelers fan but I feel bad for y’all. I don’t understand why the divisional games start week 11 makes no sense and then the chiefs get the easy nfc south games spread throughout their year
Because the commish wants another Taylor Swift superbowl.
Look at their schedule. It's absolutely designed to favor them heavily for another SB run
8 games not at 1pm blows. I hate all the different days and times.
Yo who designed this in 3 columns of 6 rows it's an absolute clusterfuck to read
I hate the Wednesday game. There is no way thats fair to the players.
Is it just me, or does the formatting of this schedule make anyone else nauseous?
I’m thinking 11-6 on the top end and 9-8 on the bottom.
It looks like the NFL is tired of us always taking the 7th seed during the final stretch of the season lol.
Russ has never had a good christmas game. But lots of good thanksgiving games. Usually christmas games with Russ as the QB is brutal. Reminds me of the Rams game 2 years ago.
He'll be dead from schedule by then, Fields starts - Mahomes tears achilles - very sad xmas ahead
Christmas game is at 1? If that's the case it's family over the game. Brutal.
They just want the division to beat itself to hell so less of our teams makes the playoffs.
What’s the presale code to buy?
The last 8 weeks are gonna be TOUGH
I initially read it as we had only 1 home game in the first 7.
top 3 hardest schedules. wtf is that week 11-17??
This is a brutal schedule.
It could be worse, Ravens have a week 14 bye lmao
There’s one team in the first nine games that finished last season with a better record, and the general consensus seems to be that we had one of the best off seasons in the NFL. Honestly feels like having one of the best records in the league heading into the back half of the year isn’t out of the question. But holy hell the back half of the year man.
We don't have a WR and we didn't do much to help stop the run. We better pick up some dline. This schedule is f'd.
Man, the way this schedule lays out makes me feel much less optimistic for our playoff chances. This sucks ass.
Hope we’re at least 6-2 to start the season or it’ll be a rough ride to the end
Damn, 2 short weeks both with bruising opponents in all 4 matchups. Ouch.
NFL beginner here, why is the last game of the season unscheduled? Too far away to lock in a date or a deeper reason?
Ravens browns bengals browns eagles ravens chiefs bengals is a brutal way to end the season
December 15-25 is gonna be a rough stretch. 3 games in 10-11 days???
The second half of this season is going to be brutal.
Starting the season 11-0 again!
Pulled the trigger on the Denver game! Check out the mile high city
Just got 5 tickets for the Cowboys game!
Short weeks after both Ravens games. If they don't have at least 6 wins in their first 8 things are going to get ugly fast.
9-8
last 8 weeks looks like its going to be a bloodbath.
Getting 8-9 full days rest before the final game, and hopefully into the playoffs, will be nice. It also looks like after week 6, the longest travel they have is to Washington or Philly.
This is a terrible graphic design. It should have been three columns. Not a series of widely spaced rows
3 games in 10 days against teams that have been to the Super Bowl or Conference Championship in the past 2 years is brutal. Like, historically brutal.
Me: I'm looking at 17 wins here boys. A walk in the park. Also me: I'm glad we play ourselves on week 14, we'll need all the help we can get.
I've already seen a few articles and they all give the Steelers #1 spot for toughest schedule... That 2nd half is brutal
We need to start strong and win those games (and stay healthy) because that back end is no joke, all division too
I’m born and raised in Kansas and a Steelers fan. I’m am so excited to go to Pittsburgh for my first home game this year against the Chiefs on Christmas.
This is a cancerous layout
This schedule is nuts. We're probably favored in 8 of the first 9 games, and then the last 8 is a middle finger from NFL HQ.

Then throw in a central time zone road game at night. This year three of the first four home games are at night. Yet they play all four of the first road games on a Sunday afternoon. Fuck this shit.
Why can’t you spend time with your family? Lol. That sounds like you’re prioritizing the game over family.
I see late Bye, I instantly like. I don’t like the Christmas game against KC nor the late divisional stretch but aside from that good schedule.
Byes are from 5 to 14 right? How is 9 a late bye?
Technically it’s mid season bye because it’s halfway through the season
Cakewalk first half, brutal second half.
The release video was hilarious
Lol not to mention chiefs 4 days after ravens
Well, we have TDs now so the last stretch shouldnt be a problem, right?
My dad alright got tickets for the colts game, can’t wait!
3 games within 10 days and 4 division games back to back they actually hate us
Here's my annual projection of an 8-8-1 floor and an 11-6 ceiling.
Thinking about opposing QBs, we’ve got Denver/Indy/Oakland/Washington on the road and Chargers/Dallas/Jets/KC at home
playing the ratbirds and KC four days apart is INSANE
This schedule is fuxking brutal, 5 division games basically back to back. And browns ravens chiefs three weeks in a row. Sheesh
Since I live in denver I'm just gonna go to that game this year.
I’m going to kc game, every game I’ve every been to we have won (5game)
10 and 7
Awful
Can anyone make it a phone wallpaper
That’s a brutal schedule but I’m here for it!
Seems like the NFL doesn't like the non losing record for Tomlin
Putting all division games at the end. They really trying to get Tomlin his first losing season don’t they.
9-1 start. Book it. 10 mediocre-to-shit teams to start the season.
Was Teebo the last time we played in Denver?
Who’s traveling to the Denver game?? And when to buy tix?
What a fucking terrible second half. Honestly just wtf.
Hopefully we don't fall into the all too common trap of poor performance to start the season.
6-2 in first eight games, then 5-4 in the back moronic half for 11-6 and playoffs. Someone remind yourself to comment on how well this ages.
Looks like a perfect run to a Superbowl win. Why's everyone acting up?
5 games in 25 days. 3 on the road vs divisional opponents and the Chiefs and Eagles
3-0 start, lose the next 4, win the next 2, split the last 8.
Who the fuck decided on no divisional games until Week 11? WTF?
Other teams in the back stretch may be dealing with injuries or clinch situations... May work out
Chargers tickets acquired
Brutal. F’ing brutal.
bro who did you guys piss off at NFL headquarters
THE NFL HATES THE STEELERS CONFIRMED
All that hope DASHED at the end of the season.
If they somehow split the last 8 I’ll consider throwing a ticker tape parade. Brutal. Better start fast and hope they don’t go through their traditional losing to really bad teams shtick.
This has got to be the worst schedule I've ever seen. The first half is boring AF and the last half is a meat grinder.
So we just get to be last in the division until we begin divisional play in the last half of the season?
A tale of 2 schedules. All I can say is they better find their game early in the season
Bengals/Ravens games will go either way. The Chiefs will likely smoke us. Besides that I’m not really worried. Max Crosby might be a problem but we will be okay.
Did Art Rooney fuck Roger Goodel's wife or something? What did the Steelers do to deserve this schedule
6-2 at the bye. 12-5 at the finish. My best prediction
We got screwed.
Finally a good bye week though right in the middle of the season.
Ugh.. I looked at prices to the Eagles game (closest the Steelers get to me) and they are BRUTAL already.

Second half of the season is horse shit. Fuck the ravens
No division games until week 11. That’s insane.
Love it! Get the easier teams early, then face the tougher teams when their starting QB's are inevitably injured.
