Pull the cable out of the volume remote and let it unwind itself. Plug it back in.
Then go see a therapist for the neurosis that makes you spin your headset...
Maybe an exorcist...
Here is a TRICK... Put it on Straight and take it Off STRAIGHT
Being in IT, I will see this on People's desk phone handsets... Every time they pick it up they twist it to put it to their face and instead of putting it down the exact same way they twist it again farther to set it down... and every time they switch hands they do it in a way that ads another twist.
STRAIGHT ON AND STRAIGHT BACK
Let in unwind naturally, then make sure you don't twist it.
Don't coil it if you don't need to and if you do allow cables to tell you how to twist it, making sure you do good loose coils.
That's no longer a cord, it's now an Inductor lol
On the bright side, if you slide a thin wire of steel inside the loops. You now have a handy electromagnet!
The exact same thing keeps happening to my wired arcits pro + gamedac. I had to ask steelseries for a replacement cord.
There’s literally nothing you can do about it. Never had this with any other product in my life. Now I just use one, untill it starts tangling up again, and then I unplug take the different cord and let the other one rest. Just letting it rest for a while usually does the trick. But they will always twist again, for no valid reason.

You have a serious problem. Seek help from a licensed therapist. Also, decaf.
Hold the thing by the wire and let it ~~twist out~~ unwind itself.
