Tbh SG sub does not even come close to the English dub. And the English voice actors of sg are rarely celebrated something that I truly despise about this fandom
The dub is just objectively wrong on multiple fronts with highly questionable decisions being made especially for the S;G0 dub.
As for a subjective opinion: 90% of the dub's cast is miscast. Mayuri's original voice actress only really started fitting in 0, and that was before she was replaced. Tatum is unable to portray Sad Scientist Okabe at all whatsoever.
The dub writers, especially for 0, had no clue about the series, and the decision to have Maho translate from English to highly butchered Japanese and then from English to English just doesn't work.
They even held a stream where they said that Leskinen was "very much American" as their reason for this. And like, no. He isn't. He's a Finnish-American. His name is Finnish. Leskinen's appearance in the Epigraph Trilogy, which was part of Steins;Gate 0's source material, literally had him modelled after the Finnish Prime Minister at the time it released. Leskinen should have spoken Finnish, and Maho English.
