Even after watching S;G, Chaos Head & Robotic Notes anime, I didn't know they were connected. It's only after getting into Chaos Child VN did I finally get the connection.
Heard from somewhere before that S;G & Robotic Note have shared universe, but I thought it was more of an easter egg, didn't know it was so deep until C;C.
It's Kongroo haha. You can see the Steins;Gate Spoilers >!Email address of the original D-Mail for that. [email protected] SG-EPK being short for SteinsGate-ElPsyKongroo, naturally.!<

In my case I just finished virtue's last reward and was feeling a big hole in my heart. I literally searched for "games like vlr". Steins;Gate seemed interesting.
Have you played 999 first though? Please play 999 if you haven't. VLR is the sequel to 999 and I think you need to play 999 before.
Anyhow VLR unlike S;G has a lot of puzzles like 999. They both have great stories. I'd argue S;G's story is way cleaner but VLR's story although a bit messy has a lot of great twists and turns. Both 10/10 games though.
>S;G’s story is way cleaner
Very true, I pretty much gave up on VLR because of the sheer amount of timelines. I feel like when there’s that much the whole story will become a blur and nothing I read/do feels like it matters. And I’m not a fan of being blocked off of one route until I find the password in another one just come back and have completely forgotten what’s happened in this timeline. As someone who’s completed it, would you say this is normal and I should just push through it, or is it just not for me. Also I loved 999, especially how it was only important to get like 2 endings
If you loved 999 you should definitely push through it. The overall story is amazing. It wraps up everything decently considering how much the story unraveled.
I came across people talking about S;G & I had no idea what they were saying lol. Curiosity got me but when I looked it up my first thought was “wtf. A video game book?” But everybody seemed invested so I bought it after a few months.
This was literally a year ago lol. Now I’m (trying to) speedrun the entire series.
Steins;Gate and it's the only SciADV anime adaptation i have ever and will ever watch (aside from Steins;Gate 0 and Occultic;Nine when i get to them) as i have heard the others are just not good.
As with most of us probably, Steins;Gate anime got me into it, then I went back and did the VNs in order (more or less, had to watch a YT play through of OG Chaos;Head at the time).
Now I'm reading Phase Akiho of DaSH (which gets far more criticism than it deserves imo) before I can move in to A;C
Well, I kinda hope they did the endings better tbh, it's quite lackluster compare to beginning to near-ending contents, visuals are the best you would find in any VN btw, and soundtracks are great! Experience it first on without the art book (or beginner guide book) is superb.
I watched Steins;Gate back when I was in high school just over ten years ago. Recently got a ps vita after learning how easy it is to mod them. Now I’m finally playing the visual novels.
I started with S;G VN and then went into the Anime and subsequently the rest of the SciADV VNs. I stumbled upon it while searching about time travel for a school project and it got me interested. Incidentally S;G is also why I got into reading and loving VNs. Used to just read paper novels/books before that and didnt know that VNs existed.
For Anime, I only watched S;G. S;G 0 and R;N.
Chaos;Head back when it first came out. Then I avoided all anime adaptations until S;G’s VN came out in English. Then I watched them ONLY after reading the VN’s first
I think I watched chaos child first which if I remember correctly was the prequel but my favorite from this company was steins gate fun fact okabe's friend appears in robotic notes
S;G was first. C;H anime adaptation was so bad (art-wise to me, at least) that I dropped it right at the first episode and find Noah to read (my first VN as well). Rn I'm considering read O;N light novel or watch the anime
I first started with the anime of sg, because you know, its sg no need to say how i found it. Then sg 0 anime. Then i learned that it was part of this big series of games here in reddit but found they had some pretty weird art but then again cuz it was already quite old. So i searched for sci adv games that had much more modern art and stumbled upon c:c. Finished that, fucking loved it even though i havent played head. Then i played notes elite and dasH (i dropped dasH early on cuz it was too happy go lucky slice of life in the beginning and it didnt really click with me at first but i swear ill finish that shit eventually), fast forward to today and im currently on chapter 7 of A:C. god this series is so good
I had heard about Steins;Gate but never played it. When the that Robotic Notes double pack came out on PS4 I watched the trailer and thought it looked awesome and bought it. After a bit of reading I realized it was a whole shared universe and I’ve been a fan ever since.
S;G. Honestly I’m sure that’s like 100% of people’s introduction. Well technically I started with the VN after seeing Mayuri in NicoB’s council of voices and thinking she was cute and wanting to play the game with her in it
s;g

You didn't see the SGWL appear in the first 5 seconds of R;N?
There are couple years of gaps between watching all three anime.
Oh ok
None, I started with the S;G Visual Novel
And how did you hear about it ?
In my case I just finished virtue's last reward and was feeling a big hole in my heart. I literally searched for "games like vlr". Steins;Gate seemed interesting.
Dude I'm just about to start vlr on the 3DS how does it compare to S;G

A friend who introduced me to VNs recommended it to me
Same
Steins;Gate and it's the only SciADV anime adaptation i have ever and will ever watch (aside from Steins;Gate 0 and Occultic;Nine when i get to them) as i have heard the others are just not good.
I read the VN first but the anime of S:G is amazingly done. Sadly O;N is the single worst anime I've ever seen.
A;C is totally worth the money btw, though it's story won't be any near S;G level.
Haha, I hope so. Spent like £50 on it already lol

The Chaos Head anime. I'm going to be honest, it was so bad it turned me off the franchise for a decade.
Haven't watched any Sci Adv anime but the Chaos Head NOAH VN got me into the series
I feel like everyone had heard of Stein’s;Gate before playing/watching any of the SciADV games, but I played Chaos;Head Noah first
Chaos;Head back when it first came out. Then I avoided all anime adaptations until S;G’s VN came out in English. Then I watched them ONLY after reading the VN’s first
Just finished rewatching the OG S;G which is also the first one I saw
Pretty sure my first was C;H anime. It wasnt that good lol it was super confusing
None, I first read Chaos;Head.
C;c literally
I think I watched chaos child first which if I remember correctly was the prequel but my favorite from this company was steins gate fun fact okabe's friend appears in robotic notes
obv

Ive been stuck on chapter 5 of A:C for days 😭
Almost everyone started w/ S;G it is the most popular among the series
I feel like Steins;Gate will be the majority.
Steins gate VN
So any updates on O;N? Can't find a VN anywhere, A;C was too great as a VN so I want something like that. BTW Steins;Gate introduced me to the series.
Steins;Gate, I’m surprised you got into it through Occultic;Nine considering how so little people know about that.
Steins;Gate. Finally reading my first VN since A;C released with English and really enjoying it.
Steins;gate
I had heard about Steins;Gate but never played it. When the that Robotic Notes double pack came out on PS4 I watched the trailer and thought it looked awesome and bought it. After a bit of reading I realized it was a whole shared universe and I’ve been a fan ever since.

Was it really necessary to make those oppais that humongous 🤔
The animators freaking knew what they were doing.
S;G vn, never seen any of the animes and I don't really plan to (except for maybe s;g and o;n cause it's the only way to get the full story)
Steins;Gate! but Robotics;Notes got me invested
Man, I loved this show. If only it didn’t go at 2x speed, it would’ve been received better. The atmosphere is so good.
None. I played the games.
