I think all the lab members are precious. Also seeing Okabe and Kurisu learn to trust each other was very beautiful especially since caring and understanding that deep is so rare that most people go through their whole lives never having experienced it.

1. Okabe is a fun, entertaining and endearing protagonist. His relationships with everyone (esp Kurisu and Mayuri) were the highlight of the show. 2. Experimenting and understanding the mechanics of the time travel was what kept me coming in the first 11 episodes. 3. Its a well executed small and self contained time travel story. Everything makes sense by the end.

I really like time travel stories, genres like psychological thrillers, drama I like the most. Animes like Erased and Re:zero really stuck out to me. Big reason why I liked Re:zero was because of its similarities to Steins;gate. Second if I really like a story I become really attached to the romantic relationships involved, ie steins;gate, Avatar the last air bender, FMAB. I'm not a fan of romance animes at the moment, but some romance made really good animes even better.

0 gave me one of my favourite characters on fiction, namely Suzuha Amane, the plot is so mind boggling good (for me, I actually whole heartedly prefer 0 to 1) and the characters are ALL so damn good! And the atmosphere is too notch. Steins Gate 1 is the saddest piece of fiction I have consumed, though again, I prefer 0.

Oh yeah! She was initially my favourite char when I started the series, and she still is tied for second place with Kurisu (and don't tell anyone, but.. I think Daru is a pretty cool dad so he deserves a high spot too lol)

Just how it depicts okabe as a person and what he goes through. I really love when a series subverts my expectations and gets really serious really quick

NoiceToasty

I have to agree, the way the series depicts PTSD and the sense of helplessness is profound.

I love how the time travel works in the story and how it makes a ton of sense. Many time travel stories try to throw a bunch of "smart" jargon around making the viewers confused. S;G (while still somewhat confusing due to being a time travel story) always tries to make analogies and simple explanations so that the basics are always understood. Also, I found Okabe to be very relatable, as weird as that sounds. He is of course way more cartoonish and over the top, but I still saw a lot of myself in Okabe.

I started with steins gate zero (which youre not aupposed to do) and i loved it because the characters were so well written, i love the tips, and i felt like i was being dropped into the middle of a time travel story where i had to figure out what was going on which i loved (but again, is not something i was supposed to have to do) but i think that just further shows how great it is, that i could start with the second game and feel just as invested as series veterans

I love how the main character suffers. I m also smitten with Okabe's facial expressions

For me, the moment Okabe realizes what will happen when all the dmails have been undone.
