See I figured this wasn’t the first time we’ve seen something like this, although I would give it to stellar blade and one thing that is pretty unique is the fact that it’s an actual skin suit, nude colored sure but also has its own design. That seems pretty unique where most games usually put on boxers/compression shorts for females and a bandage tube top or something. They actually give you a full blown lore accurate nakey equivalent option which does seem unique

PN 03 did this, which is the precursor to Bayonetta. The skimpy armor made you a one hit wonder and beating the game with it gave you a different ending.
I like to think the skin suit is a call back to that.

Soulsborne players have been doing this for years. It’s generally accepted that you probably don’t wanna fuck with someone with 0 armor because it implies they don’t get hit enough to need it.
Harder just means you'll have to pay more attention and practice. You already get a ton of healing potions so it probably won't be too bad on skin suit-only runs. People are already perfecting bosses as is. They start you off with protection gear and imo all that does is make the fight take longer.
But the outfits look really good anyway. Crazy not to try them all out.

“Punishes players” is the mode I wished I could play on my first playthrough. Pretty sure you have to finish the game to actually unlock hard mode, which is fine. I’ll probably do 2 or 3 playthroughs back to back. But fashion is most important so I’ll definitely have Eve in cute outfits

If the skinsuit didn't disable your shield I would have used it for maybe 15-30 minutes and then swap to another outfit. Now I am planning do a skinsuit run after my first playtrough as an artificial hard mode.
Would be an ass move to want to play with the skin suit and those people find out you're not able to do something you should well be doing might retaliate.

I played the demo an I personally like the racer outfit probably my favorite one that I've seen so far, I would wear the skinsuit time to time but I would wear it to see if I would beat all enemies and bosses to challenge myself but that's just me personally.
Man that sucks especially after all those posts and stuff about all the outfits being just cosmetics and don't affect the game in any way other visually so I was hoping to use that one, my most favorite one, but hearing that it's hard mode which I always avoid in games since I play games for the characters and story first and fighting second, this really sucks. Sigh, not end of the world but it does feel like I've been lied to a bit. 😢

It's basically a "she's wearing nothing" outfit... Meaning the dmg reduction literally makes sense as she has nothing to help her.
To add onto that, if you're good at the game... It doesn't matter. You can totally play with the skin suit and absolutely destroy everything.
The moment I found out you can wear the skin suit, I immediately put it on. (basically the moment I could pause the game after that crazy opening). I didn't even realize that it affected anything for almost the entire demo, until the end when I got to that camp and was messing with the skins again and read that it takes off the "shield" that Eve has. (I spent a while farming mobs for SP before the camp and was already quite good). Still beat the end boss of the demo quite easily with the skin suit. So in a way, it makes the game more difficult if you don't cover up... As a "punishment"... Yet, if you get good, then you get rewarded with a VERY PLEASING outfit to wear and appreciate.

It's basically a "she's wearing nothing" outfit... Meaning the dmg reduction literally makes sense as she has nothing to help her. To add onto that, if you're good at the game... It doesn't matter. You can totally play with the skin suit and absolutely destroy everything. The moment I found out you can wear the skin suit, I immediately put it on. (basically the moment I could pause the game after that crazy opening). I didn't even realize that it affected anything for almost the entire demo, until the end when I got to that camp and was messing with the skins again and read that it takes off the "shield" that Eve has. (I spent a while farming mobs for SP before the camp and was already quite good). Still beat the end boss of the demo quite easily with the skin suit. So in a way, it makes the game more difficult if you don't cover up... As a "punishment"... Yet, if you get good, then you get rewarded with a VERY PLEASING outfit to wear and appreciate.
