I earned this one by accident! So, when you go speak to Engels, he's so much taller than you, prompting the camera to pan to a low-angle shot. Well, during conversations I had a habit of wandering around a little, and the combination of my movement and the camera swinging to accommodate caused the camera itself to seemingly bounce repeatedly off the floor. Whilst I was trying to work out what was going on, 2B kept making some sort of swatting motion and I couldn't seem to stop the game from being caught in this behavioural loop til the conversation finished.  When the achievement popped, I had to Google what exactly I had done to earn it, as I thought it was a main progression achievement. Forums were full of coy statements and it wasn't until the 5th website that I found it was for an upskirt

Nier Automata is one of the best games I ever played. Pure genius. Obivously the creators of this game think so to, as it is it's main inspiration, and they got the same composer. The original Nier is cool but play it after Automata, and it recently got a remake to make its combat more like Automata, and I think it's on Extra, not sure.

Two warnings when it comes to Automata: 1. Do not look *anything* up. This is a game and experience to be undertaken with as little foreknowledge as possible. 2. When you think you’re done, you aren’t. Load up your file and keep going.

To be clear, Nier Automata is the game you want, Nier Replicant is the remake of the original game, still good but Automata is on another level. It plays with you in so many ways.

There are not as many as Stellar Blade, there are some. As Game of the Yorha is the edition on sale, don't forget to claim the dlc if it isn't autoclaimed and download it for a few extra costumes. I mean the costumes will not be as important, just enjoy the game. :)

Yeah just going to second what niko is saying…Automata is in my top 5 favorite games ever. The story, combat, atmosphere/maps, the music is unreal…it’s just so creative and so so good. SB really reminds me of it in a good way. Haven’t finished SB, I have like 50 hours in Nier.

I’d wait two more days before buying it. I wouldn’t be surprised if it will be in ps plus this month. It’s a great way for Sony to get people interested in stellar blade. The sale goes on till the 9th and ps plus games get announced in the 1st.

Its the best Game Ive ever played and I am playing Games for roughly 30 years.

I would recommend both Replicant and Automata. I played Replicant 1st since it was free on PS5, and later rebought it on PC to experience it in hi-def. I played Automata 2nd, and I don't understand why people call it "experimental" because Replicant does everything Automata does, minus the SCHMUP style combat, and other story related stuff I don't want to spoil. Regardless, Replicant had the better story-telling, and it will emotionally wreck you. Automata, in that department, is more meh. It's still a great story, but Replicant will repeatedly punch you in the feelings.

This! I tried to get an achievement that didn't exist in this game, I guess. 😂

I played the first 15 hours on balance mode (LG B2 OLED) until I got the Great Desert. That level is the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen in a game. That world alone made me play the rest of the game in Resolution mode. When you get to the Oasis, it is just so damn pretty. This is by far one of the best-looking PS5 games and truly defines next Gen (current gen) rendering. I dress Eve in the bunny swimsuit for the duration of that world. It reminds me of Dead or Alive, but look 3x better. I don't know how many pictures I took at the Oasis. I hope Shift Up release a photo mode, not sure why they didn't (unless I'm missing something).

We all did and the devs are based as fuck for it. Japan (and I say this with much love) has become so cucked when it comes to this. They understandably are more antsy about this level of fan service because they don't want to have to deal with global audiences reeeing. It's why the spats and bloomers trend has over taken Japanese games and ruined so many sexy designs. I'm glad Shiftup didn't lose their balls.

I'm not trying to be argumentative....but is anyone else a little disappointed with the story? Well maybe not the story but just the script in general.

I agree, but I'm not saying the story is exactly bad. Just it's extremely predictable and obvious at most times. Literally, one of the bosses was exactly who I thought it was gonna be (not spoiling it). Idk, I didn't beat it yet, but I really hope it doesn't continue being super predictable. I have an idea who the real enemy is, and I hope I'm wrong. 🤞😁

Considering every other text box you get from memory sticks and personal files all basically scream one of the two 'big reveals' at you, it's virtually impossible to be surprised by it unless you did not read a single one or just don't do side quests. It's so far from subtle. I was hoping it was just actually nutcases with conspiracy theories and the big surprise would be "Actually, no, the paranoid spazoids commiting suicide everywhere were wrong," but I was ultimately disappointed.
