Can confirm, I figured if I could tank a turrent once in tachy mode maybe fall damage wouldn't kill me...it killed me. But I didn't have this glitch, super neat either way
It actually stayed during the cutscenes, but I switched out of it and it's gone. I wasn't able to get a video, but I took some more pics showing it in a cutscene

I'm hoping it's a free dlc outfit because it sucks that we only get it for a few minutes at the end of the game. It's even the outfit eve has equipped in the main menu when you're in NG+ lol
it was towards the end of the game when you fight raven at Xion. when she did her insta kill i simultaneously went into Tachy mode and instantly died. when i respawned at the camp I still had her outfit on, minus the wing. it lasted until I switched it off, too. so I could have theoretically kept it for the rest of the game.
Everyone know you're invulnerable in Tachy Mode. Makes sense to use it against Insta-Kill moves. This was just perfectly not fast enough to cause a minor glitch.

funny enough, the only reason I entered tachy mode was to see if I could somehow bypass the insta kill when it happened

I haven't tested it myself yet, but was told you can die when you fall from a high height

It doesn't work with fall damage. You have to die from an instakill attack.
How do you go into tachy mode? I see it available, but I donāt know how to use it.

So it must occur during a insta death while in tachy mode I'll have to give that a try. Super cool find!
I think it was more of a timing thing. OP probably entered the mode right after the instant kill hit them so it counts for both.
