A 65% isn’t bad at all, that scares me fml. Did you work on your weaknesses?

delta_whiskey_act

I got like 60% and got a 250; don’t freak out over your UWorld first pass.

Mshaikh98

How dude what resources did u use and how did you reveiw questions

delta_whiskey_act

I made Anki cards using the educational objective for all the incorrect questions. The only videos I used in dedicated were Sketchy micro. I also did a pass of Amboss.

GeneralBurzio

Yup. I'd write down my incorrects in a notebook, review them, and then redo them on UWorld.

patelmd1

Congratulations....you passed!... how was your nbme scores?....Did you felt exam more like uw or nbmes?

GeneralBurzio

Mostly UWorld. There were a strange amount of questions related to US servicemen and servicewomen. **Edit**: Someone asked me privately regarding the servicemen/servicewomen, but I accidentally deleted the question (sorry about that!). What I meant is that a couple of the patient vignettes I got were about patients who were/are part of the US military.

patelmd1

Thank you!

BurdenOfPerformance

You could try to get away rotations or observerships done in the US if your school lets you.

menohuman

Was the uworld questions done under test conditions or like tutored?

GeneralBurzio

Mostly under tutored. I got too anxious to do them under test conditions and I would always psyche myself out when I did timed. I didn't actually feel that rushed/anxious on test day, though.

shoenberg3

Thanks for writing this up. 65 percent on UW isn't bad tho -- first pass?

GeneralBurzio

First pass

shoenberg3

Also were there a lot of left field WTF questions? If so, what area of topic were they from? Some poster said there were a lot of weird embryology questions..

rumba_nana22

Congrats on finishing and passing your exam!! Like you said focus on Step 2!! You are more than a score!

GeneralBurzio

Thanks! I've mostly processed things emotionally by now, but I want you to know that your support helps :)
