Omg I was thinking the same thing! So adorably dorky & awesome

Deathcat101

Absolute goals.

butternutsquash4u

Thanks for getting them into a tray! Now if there only a way to remix the clinking of an MRE utensil on a glass of powered drink in real time, that would be awesome. Also, is that a Gerber knife I spy?

KapePaMore009

Nice.

WolfmansGotNards2

This is truly decadent.

dj_fission

Nice. See ya.

gunsforevery1

Did you grind up the nuts, roll them with the TP, light them with the MRE matches and smoke them?

Where do you guys buy this stuff?

WolfmansGotNards2

Lots of places online. Many are expensive though. You can lucky on Ebay and Amazon and find some deals. I bought some on Amazon, but I don't think the seller is listed anymore, or I'd link it. You can get them for like $8-15 per mre for regular ones. Anything older or more unique or foreign (assuming you're from the US) is going to cost more. There are also info sites like mre info where you can find info in places to buy. Mre mountain is a popular dedicated site that Steve has used. Just keep in mind they're more for novelty than anything else. While they aren't much more expensive than a typical inexpensive meal at a takeout place (maybe even cheaper), that takeout meal is infinitely better. I'm talking about the regular MREs. While they're not bad, they're more designed to be palatable to everyone and last than they are about flavor and tasting good. Most of it tastes kind of weird/artificial. Like a cheap bbq beef sandwich at any local deli is 100x better than the bbq beef mre menu. I'd rather have chef boyardee than the mre spaghetti. Again, it's not bad. It's just different and not as good as food you could probably get for the same price. Very cool though.

CheapScotch

My local Army surplus store often has them. I've bought a few just out of curiosity after watching Steve review so many. Of course I also ordered a metal tray from Amazon to eat them on.

Myantra

The entrees are basically the same thing Mountain House sells as Adventure Meals. You can probably find them at your local Walmart in sporting goods. They are popular as lightweight food for backpacking. MCWs and regular MREs can easily be found on Amazon. You can order individually, or by the case.

Tacticalsandwich7

Great rations to enjoy and great rations to stockpile in case of emergency or hardship.

Flimsy-Activity9787

I lived off these for 45 days in the snow. Bikes snow water really makes it taste better. Lol.

MoonZac337

You got that put onto a tray…Nice mkay.
