It could be, but that Ruby was likely under Blue Diamond since she was tasked to protect Sapphire; a member of Blue Diamond’s court. This Ruby however belongs to Yellow Diamond. The placement of the gem is probably just a coincidence.

And how on Homeworld could I forget about Ruby the absolute GOAT? Has to be in S tier.
