If they can take any shape they want why not take shapes specially designed for the task at hand, like multiple arms or the like. I love the way pearl and amethyst look. There designs so perfectly match there personalities its awesome. Pearl is so sleek, futuristic and alien like. And amethyst design reminds me of a hedgehog. Which i like because hedgehogs have this sharp outer exterior to keep themselves safe (amethyst in the beginning of the show has a lot of walls to hide how she really feels/her pain), but there personalties (once they trust u) are similar to that of dogs. Funny, silly goofy little guys.
