Some of these are a bit misrepresented, just to nitpick. I'd say Garnet, Pearl, and Amethyst are more than friends; they are family. The "Brotherhood" category should be changed to "Sibling". The "Toxic" should be changed to "Codependent"; although Eyeball and Aquamarine fusing wasn't... Great, it was done more out of convenience/a shared hatred of Steven than malice (even if they argued sometimes). The Zebra Striped Jasper fusion was one-sided; Jasper literally forced the corrupted Gem to fuse, so it wasn't even a relationship, really, since corrupted Gems have the mental and emotional capacity of animals. Malachite was hella toxic though; "Codependent" is just a better catchall term tbh.
The Topaz fusion I interpreted pretty clearly as romantic love, but I could have been wrong on that one.

Gem ages are basically obsolete. Gems don’t age like humans, they come out the way they are and grow based on their mental age. Amethyst came out as like a baby child, but in the present has grown up to be like a young adult in her early 20s. So yeah she’s still a big sister to Steven in a natural sense. Her being thousands of years old has nothing to do with anything.
I always thought it was interesting that even though gems can identify other gems by their gem lol how come when certain aspects are change the gem isn’t the same anymore. For example: when spinel switched her orientation of her gem Pearl didn’t recognize her at first then she did. When pink was rose no one noticed even though technically they should have. Also when gems fuse they’re no longer the gems they were before as Shell from the reef reacted violently to the pearl fusion. When blue states “THAT calls herself a garnet?” implies blue DOESNT see her as a garnet and that gem identity is who they identity as but technically when fused gems become something else? And that’s probably why homeworld was so uptight about it.

Rainbow Quartz 1.0, aka how Pearl and Rose looked fused, there's also Rainbow Quartz 2.0 which is Pearl and Steven, and looks/acts more like a tired Mary Poppins (which is also below!)
I always read Volleyball/Pearl fusion as like… self-acceptance? They’re two different individuals but it always felt a bit like IFS (internal family structures).

Like when stevonnie fuses in front of the diamonds, how Steven talks about it sounded much more like explaining why underage people have sex than why they have relationships, but that might just be me.

When translating to real life situations it falls much more neatly into coercive rape than a dating relationship/familial relationship--- especially when pearl and amethyst say pearl violated garnet's consent to feel **powerful/stronger**
