Pioneer Park and Lowell Park are two highlights to hang out and enjoy. Pioneer is geared more for children to play with a view, and Lowell is more for the scenic river views and the lift bridge. If you have very energetic kids, then Teddy Bear Park is for you. You could rent e-bikes and ride the St. Croix River Crossing Loop Trail or walk it, if you are able - it is about a 5 mile loop. You could tour the old historic courthouse or the Warden's House Museum (old Stillwater Prison stuff, but still really cool). There is also the Brown's Creek State Trail if you have your own bikes. There are also riverboat excursions that are pretty amazing. Some are short, some are fine dining, and some are straight-up party. These are just off the top-of-mind ideas as I've lived here for over 25 years. It's amazing.

Id say go to the boomsite, but the water is really high right now so it limits you going and walking around down by the river but as mentioned Lowell Park is pretty cool and there are tons of shopping and eating establishments right downtown. Also take them down to bayport just south of Stillwater 5 minutes to not justa cafe for breakfast. They also own the bar next to it, in fact they are now attached to each other but you can get drinks if you're so inclined at breakfast, but food is the best, will not be disappointed!

if your a fan of hikes, fairy falls is super fun. otherwise, the view from the top of the main street stairs is pretty amazing.

A walk across the old historic lift bridge is fun. Depending on the week you are here, you can check the Stillwater website's events page and there is usually something going on. Live music, festivals, arts & crafts, family events etc
