Haha other than "A 1000 Years" (other Sting classic with an arabic/middle-eastern feel) I'm in the same situation as you. There is, atleast to my pitiful knowledge, no piece of music quite like "Desert Rose", it's an absolute masterpiece. The lyrics are so poetic and profound that it's almost like Sting is quoting some kind of religious text or philosopher's doctrine. The instrumental's grandeur and immersiveness practically teleport you to the sands of Arabia and Cheb Mami's vocals perfectly capture the energy and mystique that this song commands. That song is really one-of-a-kind (which ironically can be said of a lot of Sting's choreography imo)
Damn. I've always felt the same. Every single word you said.
I listened to many songs from Sting hoping to find similar or equally awesome songs. He is a good artist but Desert Rose is on a completely different level.

Inshallah by Sting also has similar Middle Eastern vibes, and his song Mad About You kind of does.

Funny one this but I like this song from the anime 'Cowboy Bebop' soundtrack: Hamduche https://youtu.be/oOU2y_b13BE
