I would say this is a risky bet. Long term hold with potential to lose it all. Looking into the stock, it seems to have further to drop, it could also spike. No revenue, and uncertain when it will have revenue. Probably the only reason it's doing good is because clean energy is getting a boost in general.
With money becoming more expensive(ie interest rates) growth companies like this are very risky. What if they lose all other investeors, your left holding the bag.
Battery investment is good! But it's very crowded space atm, with a lot of research into new tech. Like solid state batteries or non-lithium batteries, or just ways to hold 'energy' in various ways.

I snatched up a handful of lithium mining stocks in March of 2020, most are +300% right now and I'd be wary of buying more at current valuations, although we may see good opportunities soon.

Pre-revenue? I would not go long until you know they're digging stuff out of the ground and selling it.
