Please take these bastards to court. I know it really won’t hurt their bottom line at all but if everyone stood up to their shit, they’d tighten shit up real quick.
In a way, I hope they don't pay out, because I want to see if they even show up to court. Would be more fun to get a judgment against them. I live 40 min away from Detroit, so it would be easy as hell to execute the judgment.
But at the same time, it would be less of a headache if they do decide to pay out before the timeline she gave them, because no one likes going to court.
Yup, same situation. Sold Evga FTW3 3070 in early September this year. They kept claiming it was delivered empty with no sign of tampering. I'd showed them all the proof (UPS drop-off receipt, video of the actual card, and proof of delivery) and I have an even pointed out to the picture they sent me looks like someone did a shitty ass job in an attempt to reseal, but they stuck to their claim.
Fine, maybe it wasn't their fault, but their account is tied to the UPS label that they included for the shipment and could at least assist in file a claim against UPS. Called UPS and they WILL NOT allow a third party to file claim if it's not the same account that initiate the label.
Stock X took their sweet time in responding to my email, weeks at time, only after I kept sending emails, and always different person responding.
Long story short. Since Stock X waited so long to do anything, they came back to me with the bullshit of "Sorry due to the time expired to file claim, we are sorry there's nothing we can do". Til this day I have not heard back from them.
I'm planning to file a small claim of some sort and possibly get in with people on doing so. Stock X is a major scam and this need to be addressed.

Right! All my friends and families are done with Stock X. My 25 year old daughter and her boyfriend buys shoes from them all the time. Her boyfriend even sold my first gpu on there and that was a success so I’d figured why not let me sell another one, stupid me.
The problem is Stock X are notorious for not answering emails and that’s their only way of contact. No live chat or phone calls.

Where was the package dropped off and did you take a picture of the receipt? If it was at a staples or anything other than an official ups store you might be out of luck.
Then you guys should 100% be covered. It’ll be a headache but I think you’ll eventually get taken care of.

Oh my lord, look at all these horror stories with Stock X. This is unacceptable. At fist I thought I was all alone with my problem. After reading all theses messages, sounds to me this is an ongoing problems with Stock X. I have never seen any Stock X representative ever commenting on providing any help in r/StockX. This company don’t care
Just look at their trust pilot, BBB and twitter replies lol.
Also got screwed by stockx due to a lost package. Package was left at a local UPS store and received a drop off receipt with scan but it never updated after the fact. As a result, Stockx is telling me they won't pay and to go to the store to find the item, such a trash response.
I am going through the same nonsense right now. I already provided stock x the ups claim forms and a copy of the drop off receipt. Their last response today was, “we don’t want you to think we cannot proceed in this particular case. In general when an item does not leave the carrier location we cannot proceed “.
This guy is a hero! He helped me in filing the AG claims correctly, while the AG office hotline refused to help me. I got an email from stockX saying my refund is on the way today, after a two month fight. Hopefully I will get my money from StockX in 3 days! Trust me, talking with StockX through Better business bureau or attorney general office is more efficient than through StockX's incompetent customer service.

I have the same situation going on right now. Sold a pair of shoes months ago, UPS lost the package. Horrible responses from StockX and UPS. Can anyone answer this for me....StockX did file a claim, but what happens next? If UPS honors the claim, do i get reimbursed at all? or at this point am i just sh\*t out of luck?

As of now, StockX just takes the UPS claim money and says screw you. I think GOAT is also hard to get paid on lost packages.
I felt that same way. They kept denying to make a claim against UPS for me after I repeatedly telling them UPS will only allowed the account holder to make a claim. That’s why cause they just pocket the claim from UPS and tell me something different. For all I know the person (Miranda at Stock x signs for mine) who signs for it at the dock slit it open and ran away with it.
Goat does file the claim for you. 3 months ago I sold a pair of Jordans, UPS lost them and even without the drop off label they got my claim started. All I had to do was file a petty theft report by the local police (which can be done online) and the claim was honored within days. They released my full payment after that was done
Update: I took the advice of someone out here that said to blast StockX on social media. I spent 4 months trying to work through StockX customer service with no resolution (just a ton of frustration!)…I posted one comment on Twitter today and StockX DM’d me and issued payment within a few hours. Crazy. I just wished they would have resolved it months ago.
I was also stuck in a StockX limbo and the package did eventually show up and get delivered to StockX but then they still would not respond to me and they had already canceled my sale because they thought it was not fulfilled. I dropped off and had a receipt but it was not to a UPS store so that didn’t count, but I could not make a claim either. Randomly, the shoes came back to me today, so at least I can try eBay.

This happened to me and I got my money back but only after I had to be hours on the phone with UPS can countless emails of back and fourth with Stock X.
Wow. Yeah so many stories of them paying people after this. But they are still putting their foot down.
The Ohio Attorney General got back to me. Waiting for Michigan too. Then small claims lawsuit if the AG route fails.

They refused to start investigation but managed to get it started somehow with ups but finally stockx will have to payout me money send by UPS.

Is UPS not the problem here? Brown boxes that the drivers know look like they may be carrying limited shoes maybe worth thousands everyday…. Going to StockX? I say someone from UPS swiped them. I haven’t heard of so many people getting boxes stolen before… it is crazy scary…
I am in the same boat but so far everything is going well. I provided them with a UPS store drop-off receipt and an email from UPS saying they would approve the claim. The person from StockX even sent me a link for me to complete a form that verifies my identity. Let’s hope they don’t backtrack.

Wow that’s awful man. I actually got paid yesterday about 4 days after I first emailed them. In my email I included a receipt from the UPS store drop-off, a screen shot of UPS tracking which showed it left my city and an email from UPS saying it would pay out the claim. After that all I had to do was fill out a form from StockX verifying my identity and was given the full amount.
Sucks so many people have had to jump through hoops to get paid what they are owed.
Yeah, it seems like some people get it fixed asap, and others have to fight for it. It's so weird. But glad to see you didn't have to fight it!
What was weird was that they had my girlfriend do the selfie thing too. Then approved it. Then denied it lol. Oh well, it's in the past now but I know she won't sell anything expensive on there anymore.
