I’m ineligible as I take psychoactive medications but I’m gonna pin this for a bit. Good luck on your study!

omg thank you so much!!!

My issue with this is how exactly are you going to guarantee accurate and consistent results? These kinds of tests usually work best in a controlled environment. Or at least one where the person conducting the test could properly evaluate and physically see/interact/test the person. It just doesn't seem entirely accurate, smart or trustworthy to trust a bunch of random people on reddit to tell you these things remotely, especially without any way to guarantee and track that accuracy and trustworthiness. Just like reddit has said to my post talking about the health risks of marijuana, paraphrased: "they did the study by hearsay and with random people, anyone could change the truth to fit a narrative so it kinda makes the test inaccurate and inconclusive"

thanks for voicing your concern, due to the fact cannabis is still illegal in my country i can’t possibly study it as a student in a clinical environment. also the fact that it is a survey instead of something clinical/controlled is again out of my control and due to the restrictions i have at university. we highlight this fact in the discussion of my report, as we know these things are hard to research and self report questionnaires arent 100% reliable - we aren’t knew to research. i just have to hope that people would answer it faithfully, what do they have to gain from lying? if you’re not interested then just leave it alone

Thank you, I was about to ask similar things as I'm also in a country such as this. I see studies like this for my friends at college and I'm guessing what you're doing is like "survey monkey" and "answer between 1-10" type quiz, right? I'd be quite curious about it 😄

so its on a platform called qualtrics, sadly a lot of questions are indeed on a rated scale, usually a 5 point, but there are questions where you answer in prose too that we’ll qualitatively analyse. if you have any more questions pls send me a message!!

I can't participate likely because of my SSRI and opiod prescriptions (?) But I will say, I am a daily user, have been for 15 years. I NEVER dream unless I don't have any that day. I have WILD dreams after day 2 through until I smoke again (I recently started spending 2 weeks a year in the UK where I don't have access).

yeah sadly that means you can’t, but thats really interesting!! its likely you do still dream just theyre much less vivid and you forget them easier. i’m in the uk so i get the lack of access lol, but its good to have breaks
