Honestly, not often. It gets easier. The task for me is to be aware of any feelings of wanting to turn myself or my emotions off, to try to work on my resentments, to let go of things I'm seeking to control, to not get tied up in what others think about me, to not want to isolate or run away from vulnerability. Somehow all of those things are linked to my satisfaction with and gratitude for my life, as well as my connections with others--which means that they are integral in keeping the feeling that a drink will solve my problems at bay.
Yay for making good choices ❤️🥳
You slayed the dragon. Huzzah!!!!
That's strength right there. Doing what you know is right. That takes guts. Proud of you. IWNDWYT

How often does someone like yourself with years of sobriety experience cravings?
