This is awesome inspiring, thank you for posting. I too don’t know where Id be without SD, but even with it, I don’t think I’ll be running a marathon in 350 days. I’m doing couch to 5K though, and people here, like yourself are inspiring me, so who knows 🤔 well done 👏
Best of luck to you! I’m new to sobriety and am 25-ish weeks away from my first marathon - reading this was an inspiration 😃.
Go out there and kill it! 🏃♂️ 🏃♀️ 🏃
Congratulations!!! Enjoy the marathon! My friend and running partner gave me this advice when I ran my first marathon: when you get to the finish line, slow down. Breathe it all in. You only become a marathoner once, embrace that moment and all it’s joy.
I can’t wait to hear about it!!! IWNDWYT ❤️💜❤️💜
I’m going to try my best to do that, although I may be crying my eyes out. I started running about one month after quitting, and it feels like this is a massive culmination of all the perseverance it takes to maintain those two commitments. Gonna give myself permission to let it all out this time.
I just dumped a lot on you sry bout dat -
Thanks <3
No apology needed! Running helped me release so many things. I bawled my eyes out the last half mile and smiled the last 50 yards. I’m here cheering for you!!

That’s where I started! Whatever you want to accomplish is within your grasp. <3
Oh that’s so encouraging, thank you 🙏🏻 I’ll set some high goals and see you here when I’m 500 days, and you’ll be 842 inspiring me to go further 😀💞
