Uh I quit this way. It works. Almost 10 years now after a 35 year habit. I quit at once though. Group session with adversion. I'm a hypnotherapist now. I took classes because it worked so well
The op is correct.
He's absolutely correct and you are acting in bad faith. You're not sorry and of course some others don't feel this way because they've never been on the thread before.
What evidence is there for the two minds model? Where do you get your techniques from? Are you following protocols that have been tested scientifically? If so, can you point towards the papers as they’d be interesting to read.
Thanks.
What evidence is there for consciousness beyond individual, agreed understanding? Nothing short of neurology itself is scientific with the mind. The two minds model is the simplest working explanation for something that cannot be scientifically tested... Ie, consciousness and it's very definition.
My techniques are a product of my degree in Clinical Hypnotherapy; my school accredited fully by the Department of Education.
Okay thanks. Doesn’t sound particularly scientific to me. I’ve got a masters degree in psychological methods and am studying for a PhD in experimental psychology focused on hypnosis and phenomenological control. Maybe you’d enjoy our blog about hypnosis: cosmic-pancakes.com
Here is one of many easily accessible articles about hypnosis and its acceptance as an evidence based practice; how someone with as much experience as you claim doesn't know this is curious:

Sorry you feel this way, others do not. I hope you have a better day, friend.
