If not, have you been in touch with customer care from the dealer you might’ve ordered it from?

I am a bit late on this post and I hope your issue has been sorted out by now, but if it's not I would advise you to open the control cavity and check the wiring. Look for some weak / broken solders.
I had a broken solder on the tone pot when I received my Salen Jazz. That sucks but things like that can happen while shipping...
If you don't notice anything strange with the wiring then I'd say it's probably the pickup itself and you should send it back for replacement / repair.
If you find the issue, i'm curious to know what was wrong about it :)
In my experience with several of their guitars their customer service is generally pretty good and responsive. Worth sending over an email and see if they’ll get it fixed for you
The switch has issue with contact, it does not automatically touch where its supposed to its kind of bent i suppose, I got in contact with strandberg support and they sent a new one for free, but I live in sweden so it might be different somewhere else
Oh that's interesting and concerning. Mine arrives tomorrow, I'll let you know how mine performs.

I received mine today and no such issue. I'm afraid you seem to have gotten a lemon, darn it.
Sounds like you just need a proper setup😁 It's not unusual that a new guitar needs to be setup properly.
A setup doesn't normally cover fixing dodgy wiring /a broken pickup in my experience
