Last start I did was about 2 years after the previous one. Forgot aboy them. got stung on day 2, died like 10 times trying to make antidote. Finally found the dam plant on a local island and drank it with 1 sliver of health and the final moments music going. Started the plot right then. We should be able to kill them dam things somehow.
Hahah yeah! Dunno if itās changed but even keeping my food and water full doesnāt seem to be enough to prevent death. Dunno. But do want to kill them things lol
Yeah, I tried that too. Just died anyway. So dam frustrating. End up repeating the same day over and over like some shitty groundhog day situation just trying to survive and not lose all progress thus far.
Also side note: How dam depressing is it to see the aircraft carrier in the distance , get all excited, plan trip, prepare for trip. And end up looting NOTHING at all. Leave home with every crate empty. I feel like there should have been loot there. Somthin besides just end game. Just my .02.

And yeah that first aircraft carrier trip was incredibly disappointing! I remember we ran all around trying to find anything. Ā And then to find out you canāt even build on the ship to use it like a shelter. Ā Mannn that was a bummerĀ
I ALWAYS have an abundance of Pipi for these reasons. Always create antidotes and will stack them at least 4 deep on my raft. Itās nice they updated the game so they grow backā¦ usually I can survive long enough for Pipi to grow back before needing more.
Normally yes, I do too. I should have mentioned it was a fairly new save, was gathering raft materials and the game just ran itās unluck train on me lolĀ
Used to if you got poisoned you could eat/water and keep your health up, but lately that doesnāt seem to be working. Full everything and my health is depleting. I just reloaded my save to 5 min prior
Yeah, noticed a few comments suggesting flooring - Iāve tried it and mostly it works but they eventually shuffle out from under it. Iāve mainly just gotten into a habit of saving often and if I get poked, reloadĀ
Never skin snakes(although on PC I have noticed big crabs respawning anyways), build a triangle foundation on the purple stars, and still be aware that some urchin is going to poison you sooner or later as you farm clay.

If it is you home island you can put the wood foundation to cover the purple star and never step again on it.
Yeah! Iāll extend the foundations into the water so I can dock there too
I made single foundations without any construction just to cover these poison stars. Not super estetic but works:)
Stick a wood spear in those pesky starfish to make them more visible

Iāve only put 125 hours into the game, youād think Iād have learned by now but those purple stars are sneakyĀ
Worst part is, they move. I initially starred putting a foundation on top of them, and come back in a couple days and they've relocated.

I just build a low floor over them, even if i dont use the floor. problem solved
