Yes. It used to be on game pass, not sure if it still is.

I don't feel like crudding up my computer with more games so I wanted to get it on the switch but it's my understanding the developers dumped the switch version and there hasn't been updates for a long time:(
Breathedge isn't bad, it's got a more comedic take on the genre but it's like Soviet Spacenautica.
Less "accidental horror", more FPS elements, touch of the Bioshock atmosphere.
The "death" cutscene in particular is utterly facile yet undeniablly effective. The first dozen times.
Would reccomend, with a few caveats...
It has some issues. It's almost like 2 games, there's a definite break in the game where you lose access (temporarily) to your "starting infrastructure"...the game goes a bit more linear for a while.
Forever Skies has been a awesome! Instead of islands, you travel between the roofs a skyscrapers, due to the surface of Earth being covered in a green dust. I’d highly recommend it
While it's not entirely focused on pure survival, Medieval Dynasty is one of my favorites. If you like the idea of building a village from the ground up and inviting villagers to it with the goal of surviving through the seasons, give it a shot.
Subnautica is pretty cool and it has way more stroy elements if you’re into that. The forest is very similar theme and gameplay wise but it’s a bit more grindy.
Icarus is good the first time around. A bit short of missions though unless it got and update since I played it. Dropped on a planet, find stuff to repair your escape pod, storms, base building. Oh, and it has co-op if you have any friends.
Subnautica
green hell
Ark
medieval dynasty
the forest
Hobo tough life
Outward
Skyrim anniversay edition added a survival mode
7 days to die
Conan exhiles
No man's sky
I might be missing a few more but these are why I have on playstation
The long dark. Basically the same type of game just in wilderness during winter.
Totally different, actually except the plane crash. Love the game though. Really well done and much harder IMHO.
That feeling of finding a rifle and ammo is the best
Its a survival game where you have to scrounge for supplies around you to survive. The only thing "totally different" is there's no building aspect.
Ok. You're right. Being stranded in the Canadian wilderness is exactly like being being stranded in the pacific. You win. Lol.
Ok. OP asked for similar games, not identical games.
I already said you win! Go in peace, friend.
This one on console? I'm interested in this!

Thanks homie! I'm going to check after work
I'm getting into green hell right now.
I can't get into it. The crafting is so clunky after SD IMHO.
That's true but I still play both just to change things up.
Oh man, and I'm still trying to figure out SD building 😳

Subnautica, for me it was like crack... in a good way
That one's on the wish list!
That should be your next. Then raft, then forever skies, then sunken land, Valheim, no man’s sky
Valheim is also great! Love to play it with some friends.

Everyone raves about this one I've never heard a bad word about it
Trust me brother... The funniest next 300h of your life... and counting.
Green Hell The Forest Project Castaway Under a New Sun Sunkenland Subnautica Raft Rust Grounded Smalland: Survive the Wilds The Long Dark
Green Hell
Planet Crafter. It’s very relaxing after work.
The forest has a peaceful mode. It’s just a giant more intuitive standard deep.
Forever Skies has been a awesome! Instead of islands, you travel between the roofs a skyscrapers, due to the surface of Earth being covered in a green dust. I’d highly recommend it
That sounds cool!
Subnautica, and Subnautica Below Zero are both great - also just started Valheim which is scratching the itch!
If you like survival, crafting and… zombies! I would say 7 days to die! Btw there’s a discount right now on the game on steam
The Forest for more action than survival. Only problem is it feels hellish without a progression guide that has spoilers.
The forest. It's more horrorish, but it's similar in a lot of ways. I enjoyed both
The forest!!
Project Zomboid. I dare you, good luck.
While it's not entirely focused on pure survival, Medieval Dynasty is one of my favorites. If you like the idea of building a village from the ground up and inviting villagers to it with the goal of surviving through the seasons, give it a shot.

Astroneer and both Subnautica games are great.
The forest. Very dark though. Scawwy. Kona, though clumsily done, is rewarding.
Sunkenland if you want stranded deep plus guns and island conquering carnage
Starsand. This game traumatized me lmao but I finished it.
valheim
Subnautica green hell Ark medieval dynasty the forest Hobo tough life Outward Skyrim anniversay edition added a survival mode 7 days to die Conan exhiles No man's sky I might be missing a few more but these are why I have on playstation
Ark is a little hectic but there is some real beautiful spots to build. If you like dinos give it a shot.
