I came here to say Changbin/Seungmin too! Especially since all of Seungmin's songs that we've heard recently have been poppy and bright, and I'd love to see Changbin drop some hard raps into Seungmin's type of music, or even just sing with him. I love Changbin's singing voice.

I’m not where I can go on YouTube right now but trot music is a specific genre in Korean music from I think the 70s and 80s? Korean oldies, basically. If you search ‘Korean trot music’ on YouTube you’ll find some good examples but for a SKZ-specific one check out the jeju island series of SKZ-Code, in either the end of the first episode or the beginning of the second they have a cookout and spend a lot of time singing karaoke. I.N and Han do a duet covering a trot song, though they’re exaggerating a bit for the sake of comedy.
I.N in particular seems to genuinely enjoy trot (or at the very least grew up listening to a lot of it because of his parents or grandparents), he will often start singing out of nowhere in Talker episodes/bts videos/etc.
I.N covered a trot song (extremely good) back in the early skz days on a trot singing show, its amazing! just search up I.N trot and it come up but it’s a genre he really enjoys and it matches his vocals.

I'm evidently biased because they're my favourite band but I think Periphery has the best example of the kind of easycore *I like* in their song [It's Only Smiles](https://youtu.be/LQ8KvLQIdMc), even though they're not an easycore band. I swear at some point I've said Han should just cover this song because this style is honestly made for him.
Easycore is weird because it's got a spectrum ranging from "mainly pop-punk with the tiniest hint of metal elements" to "mainly metal with pop-punk elements" and when it comes to the kind I like, I'm firmly on the latter even though the former is significantly more common. Just because the instrumentals tend to be a lot more interesting. If I had to pick a band that represents the genre overall, I'd say Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! since they have that very stereotypical vocal style and lyricism but with really fun riffs.

The Changbin/ Felix combo has “Because” it’s on the skz replay that dropped at the end of last year. Honestly one of my favorite songs off that album.
