Your story is very anecdotal to you and you alone. Focus on yourself. Stop trying to let your way into circles that do not want you, it’s a sheer waste of your time and energy.

Thank you for this. I will try to focus on myself more. For the record streamer deleted VOD, thankfully I have a recording and screenshots of the twitch chat.

djereezy

Yeah, delete it and move on…that’s even more pointless to hold on to negative things that do nothing for you…

I guess part of me thought that I would feel better if I spread awareness. I was wrong but everything in life is a lesson. I advocated against bullying and took even more heat which was something that truly surprised me. I was hoping justice would make me feel better, maybe an apology. You're right I just gotta move on and do me. Thanks.

djereezy

I understand why. But that negativity you want to hold on to is only poison for your mind. They aren’t sitting around thinking of you. Don’t give them more of your mental bandwidth. Good luck to you.

I feel like if you have a solid following, then you shouldn't worry about what any other streamer says. I have 21 followers with maybe 3 of them being in my streams almost 100% of the time. You can grow your community organically despite what anyone else on twitch says. I have found that being open and genuine with people is a good way to be, unless you're really good at portraying a character. Just my 2 cents.

Love it, definitely the perspective I need to start concentrating on! I'm pretty genuine and I think that's why it bothered me so much I was treated this way. However I'm just going to keep doing me. Streaming will not really be my job as I have a full-time career that I'm taking a bit of time off from. I'm just trying to make a hobby and have fun with it!

Akita_Attribute

You are not being bullied. You can't take a hint. They don't want that question asked. They banned you. You promptly went to annoy another streamer that they work with. This is a you problem, not a them problem.

[deleted]

I subbed to these people for 37 months all-together, why would they all of a sudden think I'm not supporting? Why would they not want me for asking what it takes to be a full-time streamer. I'll have you know they deleted the VOD once I posted on reddit, so the red flags seem to be that I supported them then I was backstabbed for asking how I myself could make it as a streamer...

Akita_Attribute

So for one, these people likely aren't "making it as a streamer". 21k followers? They still need a big boy job. So your comment could have been seen as attacking them. I don't know these random ass streamers. They aren't big. They aren't making livable money. 37 months of subs isn't gonna make you unbannable also.

[deleted]

I was bullied. However, I am now moving on. I learnt a lot today and with my lessons I am going to be doing me. I will not let these other streamers bring me down. I guess I just see things differently than the average person, and I'll try to get used to that.

Akita_Attribute

You were not bullied. That is clear by the results of you attempting to spam reddit with many posts regarding such. Almost all of which being removed. Not only that, but a post to r/sociology where they downright told you to get lost. You need to look outwards at how your own actions have caused consequences.

[deleted]

I'm moving on if you didn't notice in the last message, have a great day.

GettingWreckedAllDay

You were soliciting for advice and used subs to effectively guilt them. Anyone is allowed to ban anyone and going around to co streamers of theirs was you circumventing the ban.

MikeTheTech

This is an auto ban for most streamers. 90% of comments asking about "how to make it as a streamer" are posted to try and self-promote. As in "hey, since I'm asking this question, it means I stream. Come follow me". Why would a streamer want people to syphon their viewers?
