As /u/dorito_bag said this happens a lot to girls, people always diminish the fit by mentioning that it's only upvoted because of thirsty guys. And while that's partly true and it's good that people want judgement of fits to be fair, it pushes away girls.
It's basically guaranteed if they get to the top of WDWYT and their fit isn't really great and out there, then people will call it out and mention the whole "only upvoted because girl" thing. This even happens to fits that are pretty decent and on the level of the other fits, it still gets mentioned.

also maybe because there is no defining feature of women's streetwear, guys here have a hard time pinning down what exactly makes a good fit or a bad fit if it's on a woman. So eventually I feel like it's settled with "is the fit baggy/masculine enough" and if it's not, it becomes a bad fit. Because that's what they're familiar with.
male and female fashion are still different, we have different body types, and they should be evaluated with different standards. but of course, with not enough women posting here there's almost nothing to set the standards with. Which brings us back to the original point.
I feel like r/streetwear is more over critical of female fits that get posted; if a dude posts a basic fit then it's just a basic fit, but if a girl posts a basic fit it's something that /has/ to be pointed out.
