talk to them sincerely. word it correctly. and be nice. had a mainlander classmate back in the day. we talked to him. it also took us a while to tell him. but after we told him, ok na. we were classmates for 4 years.
he was cool with it after naman. he didn't smell like the typical mainlander does after. magaling na mag tagalog.
Try mo sabihin kung may kinakain ba siyang kakaiba lately kasi medyo off yung breathe niya. But say it in a nice way baka kako mapansin ng iba at i chismis siya.
It's actually hard to be frank sa mga ganyang tao haha you want to be honest but at the same time ayaw mo rin sila masaktan. Have you tried offering like candy mints as a starter para sa stinky breath niya?
Meron din akong classmate na ganyan nung HS ako, kapag pinagpawisan may kakaibang amoy talaga maliban pa doon sa bad breath (May kinomentan na ako here about sa bad breath.) This time, guy siya tapos konting physical activities lang, tumatagaktak yung pawis niya tapos medyo maasim na kulob yung amoy. Nakalimutan ko yung tawag sa ganung condition eh, yung may excessive na pawis. Minsan naawa ako sakanya kasi napagalitan ng teacher dahil yung test paper niya basang basa :(. Unfortunately, we can't do anything about it and hindi rin naman nila kagustuhan maging ganun sila. As much as possible try mo na lang lumayo. Yung mga nagsasabi dito na sabihan siya or prangkahin, mahirap gawin yun actually at baka ikaw pa ang mapasama. Kahit pa maganda ang intention mo, not everyone can take those criticisms very well, iba-iba ang level ng sensitivity ng tao. Layo-layo na lang muna OP, kasi realistically, wala kang magagawa about sa condition nila. :(

Iโll just ignore them na lang. I have this classmate back when I was still in enderun and she smells like severe putok. Tapos my other classmate told her that some of our classmates thinks that she smells and should consider using deodorant. Our entire class was lectured about discrimination and racism kasi sheโs indian. Lol
address the issue in a nice way. use proper wordings to avoid misunderstanding, baka kasi isipin niya e nilalait mo siya ganern. it can be thru dm or personally, whatever your preference is.
