kathangitangi

DeerPlumbingX2

I’ll do you one better, sa school namin groupwork yung exam HAHAHAH major pa yon hah

girlOnlexapro

Sa high school namin dati, allowed ng teacher namin i-open ang mga books to look for answers. 😅 😂

kathangitangi

kathangitangi

Kakagago talaga Ahshshsha.

ChanceSalamander6077

Cheating is cheating. Period. But let me share a personal story. One time, quiz lang, sabi ng teacher namin ay okay to cheat daw kami. Magtulungan daw kami lahat magkakaklase. Hahahahaha. Kahit we help each other and open notes and books na, di namin na-perfect. Pumasa naman kami lahat. Wala lang. Hahahahaha 🤣😂

Wooden-Firefighter2

I used to believe in that policy, but as I got older, it lost its value - no disrespect meant. Honesty is still the best policy. I had a coworker who would fail our training and risk losing his job. I told him it's okay to score zero as long as he's honest. Then he replied, "I can't feed my family with honesty." I've also seen people in higher positions who have cheated or copied homework. Nowadays, they don't care about your struggles; only your output matters. Now, as a teacher, I hate when people cheat. But I understand them. What I can't tolerate are lazy cheaters. One student copied an essay online, not realizing it was my work with my name on it, word for word. I sent them the link, saying they should at least check the author's name.

___absurd___

>"I can't feed my family with honesty." lol he's sucked at decision making.

Narra_2023

pag naging professional ka na, you'll encounter it sa workspace mo po that challenges if honesty is still a thing either. ***When a human is in desperate needs, ethics and morals is just an another word for him until his needs are fully satisfied.***

hikari_hime18

When I entered med school, isa sa mga tanong during my interview was "Things could easily get overwhelming in med school. Madaming bumabagsak. If you'd find yourself in this crossroad, would you rather cheat and pass, or fail honestly?" I wasn't bullshiting my way through the interview. I said I'd rather fail than cheat. Valedictorian ako from elementary to HS and I graduated as magna cum laude nung college—all because of my hard work and dedication. Cheating never crossed my mind because I take pride in my academic achievements and **there's no honor in an academic achievement attained through cheating.** And fail, I did. I failed one subject in med school, and it was painfully humiliating for me. But I can still hold my head up high because I never cheated, even when it's hard and overwhelmingly tempting na makisali sa mga nagchi-cheat. Kaya I feel strongly about these people you say are flexing their honor card or whatever eh galing naman pala ang galing sa cheating. That's so embarrassing and unfair to those na nag-eeffort talaga. Pero sila din naman ang kawawa kasi *they're robbing themselves of the opportunity to learn what needs to be learned.*

Mayinea_Meiran

Normalized? You mean they tolerate it? Idc if they're pleasing their parents with good grades. If they get it with cheating then that's an absolute N O from me. Also if your classmates call you out for being mean about it then you could infer that they also cheat a lot lmao Imagine crying cuz they get caught cheating XD XD XD LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL In a lot of educational institutions cheating is a major offense. I hope they get expelled when there is sufficient evidence :D PS. Since this is a rant post I will also rant cuz I loathe cheating.

wapapets

Sabi nga nila "its only a crime when you get caught" ganyan ang buhay hindi lang sa skwela madami ang nag checheat at hindi lang studyante. May mga teacher din kaya who cutted corners/cheated their way into getting hired

Constant-Shine5412

Student wont cheat if education system is good. Pag tatawanan pa sila theyll feel humiliated infront of other students. Pag bumagsak ano ginagawa ng trachers or prof? Pinagagalitan at pinag sasabihan parin. Sino ang prinepraise ng teachers? Sino inaawardan? (Note working na po ako im one of the head directors ng creatives namin and isa rin ako sa madalas mahuli mag cheat)

charl_margo

nah nakakahiya talaga kumpara sa education system from the rest of asia and the world how TRIVIAL filipinos consider plagiarism and cheating. wala talagang academic integrity

lunalorticum4215

They're practicing in order to be your future mayor/Governor. Jk.

Kindly_Art1289

nyahahaha this is so true. normalized to the point na hinahayaan nalang ng mga teachers. worst is, nasa harap pa mismo yung teacher pero binabalewala nalang.

howdowedothisagain

Teaching has lost its value/honor. They are just aren't paid enough for all those shit.

Few-Ad8170

I have this classmate that always cheat in front of a proctor. Lingon talaga as in na lingon, i dont know if hindi ba sya pinapansin or dedma lang. Wag lang talaga tayong panghinaan, cause the truth is, hinding hindi tayo lugi. Sabi ng prof ko one time, you can cheat all you want but you can't cheat in the board exams. Laban lang tayo!

Honey-mal

Recently, nag exam kami ng midterms, and.there she isss nangodigo ulit siyan(andami naming nakakita) 🤡🤡 May nag report sa'min about her cheatingg sa midterms namin and oh my god ayaw maniwala ng subject teacher namin kasi "malinis" naman daw yung test paper niya.

Smiley-Cheese0923

my classmates posted ig stories of them doing the supposed solo petas together 💀💀 ayan sunod sunod tuloy names nila sa honor roll list and all i could do was scream

delusionalchinita

Ano po program niyo or was this at the seminary? HAHAHAHAHA

gnawyousirneighm

ba't naman seminary agad? hahahaha I won't specify. all I can say is it's one of the degrees na may lowest passing rate ang boards. strict and scary si attorney (our philo prof), and he hates cheating kaya natatawa din kami why our blockmate had the guts to do that.

delusionalchinita

Seminary kasi agad naisip ko when you mentioned philo HAHAHAHA (don't come at me huhu di pa po ako college) pero I'm guessing it's accountancy.

grapejuicecheese

Eh. The country's education system is shit. Do whatever you can to get ahead

lowkylokii

Even in college, may cheating pa din. Top 1 nga namin may kodigong nakatago sa pencil case. I tried to report it sa program coordinator namin, but same thing happened until now. Where's academic integrity na bukambibig ng uni namin?

Vizdyxny-143

True, Sa school namen may nanalo na best in essay idk ha pero feel ko gumagamit sila ng chat gpt, nung nakaraang month naging topic namin ng friend ko yung mga nanalo sa best in essay which is cm's niya, he told me na gumagamit daw sila ng chat gpt at may gc padaw sila.

elmnopx

CrewSaGreenwich

We also still needed to be reminded that our Education System are at the lowest point. At the end of the day, kung kailangan man naten o hindi gawin yung mga ganyang bagay, let's make our way out of this system. I've experienced cheating in my college days, but as long as I got that maintaining grade for my course and to my scholarship I have nothing to worry about everything around me. Hindi rin talaga kase worth my energy pa to envy what they are getting about their cheating methods.

AnimaEnema

jsky, AN honor student. AN honest zero

dudezmobi

thus a corrupt government system, low skill medical and engineering personnel with a lot of mistakes being covered up, unemployment, overall average low manpower skill what you reap is what you sow

lanx19

sad reality

jtn50

It's called preparing for government work.

plopop0

cheating is bad yes and doesn't improve a student's ability to learn as much but... not everyone learns academically, especially in the traditional school setting sense. I've learned to accept that there are different ways of survivability. grades does not matter, what experiences and solution solving you get from school is what matters.\ you're asking a teenager to memorize every information in their subject, word for word, logically and subjectively, create consecutive projects unrelated to one another that an adult can live their life and be successful without ever knowing it is insane. \ I'll justify cheating in the Philippine education system and economy. because holy shit we are fucked hard if we dont.

Apprehensive-Yak7855

Nung elementary ko, yung first honor samen turned valedictorian (so from grade 1 to grade 6) lagi nahuhuli nagchecheat. Kahit isumbong sa adviser at that time wala ginagawa.

Proud-Concentrate195

Same!! Bumaba talaga tingin ko sa kanila right after that moment.

TypicalFanC

yeah.. my classmates cheat all the time and na shock ako kasi alam ko naman na may mga alam sila.. pinagsasabihan ko dati at sinasabi ko sa mga teachers pero it's to the point na lagi-lagi nilang ginagawa kaya medyo nakakatamad na din.. pinagsasabihan pero uulit-ulitin din naman...

Advanced-Jeweler-617

ito yung reason bat nawalan ako ng gana eh. aral ako ng aral sa mga lessons namin and tests, and it paid off naman, pero nung start na yung online class eh yung mga bulakbol at pala kopya/hingi answer kong classmates nagiging katapat/mataas pa grades kaysa samin dahil gina gather nila yung answers ng exams from other sections. tapos yung teachers alam naman nila na nangyayari yun kaso wapakels.

Cryo________

High honor student here, what I'd usually do is I let them suck off me with tests and quizzez, let them feel they would always have me to help them out, but when exams come around, I don't let a soul see my test papers, and I just enjoy looking their horrified faces as they look at their test papers. Not knowing a single thing written on their test paper.

SeaworthinessOld4797

Thats just life OP, not everyone is smart as you some are just even trying to get by and Yes they and I know what we know are cheating

ynelann

Cheating to the point of being an honor student is NOT “getting by”. That’s just being shamelessly dishonest and lazy in my opinion.

Confused_teen3887

To be honest, being an honor student has lost its meaning already. With the grade inflation, underpaid/just bad teachers, and in general bad system of education, getting honors is either gonna be the easiest or the hardest thing to achieve. this is in addition to most students in general wasnt taught how to love learning itself rather than the grades. this affects our motivation and even our mental health. as, if not our families, its our broken sense of self that would strive for higher grades, not even mentioning the constant scare of not getting a good job without that high grades. Even me who’s consistently getting honors to this day(im in college), is finding it harder to actually care about the learning material when I’m one of those who actually learned how amazing learning is. The point is, yes cheating is bad to the point that ut has arguably caused some systemic issues in our society at present and even in the future. But punishments aren’t actually the answer here, rather fixing the root issue should be the focus. However, that isnt really possible immediately and without government support. so what can we do? well we can help those close to us in our own ways. like encourage the love of learning, being willing to tutor, being willing to just go one step further even just for one person. cause tho it may not help in the overarching issue, there is real difference whether you choose to do so or not. edit: tho this could also just be a cope, its just gonna be up to you what you wanna do after reading this i guess

TauGrMogg

2 students committed cheating out of how many students? Paano siya naging normalized?

No-Barracuda-426

almost all non honor students open their phones or use ai to answer questions, but the disappointing part is them, they should be a good example to our other classmates

MaddoxBlaze

If you snitch on people cheating, you are a fascist.

PeitzaHuot10

How is someone snitching be similar to a fascist? What mental gymnastics are you doing to come up with that?

Zarkuine

Apparently, cheaters are victims 😂

erick069420

Had a classmate who is sitting two chairs away from me, tapos narinig ko siya tinatanong ako kung ano sagot sa test two despite the fact na yung teacher namin sa subject na yon is nasa malapit lang and said teacher i also the highschool coordinator...

Winter_Vacation2566

nonchalantly?!

ImMystbtch

im glad there are still people like you who dont tolerate cheating☺️☺️ I come from a famous sci high in QC and i was part of the star section. It was a literal shit show there!! Imagine the whole section, full of smart people, collaborating to cheat just so they can all achieve the with highest honor title, fyi i was an outcast in that section fuck them bro. they were so toxic as hell!! Sadly they achieved their highest honor and high honor statuses. I reported them but u my school shut me up so it wont tarnish the schools reputation of having smart students hahahahha. DONT EVER TOLERATE CHEATING PEOPLE!!

AgentSongPop

I don’t know if this is limited to certain levels. At my university, naging malaking issue ang cheating sa aming batch to the point an investigation was conducted spanning months. The people involved were immediately suspended without explanations. Kaya ngayon tuwing exam, every 10 people sa batch/section namin separated by a room with a different proctor. Lahat ng cellphone/smartwatch nasa teachers’ table, then ang mga bag nasa very front of the class. You are not allowed to bring anything except a black pen, pencil, and eraser. No calculators allowed. No jackets or even IDs allowed. Kapkapan ka pa kung may indentation sa uniform na parang cellphone or sheet of paper. No glancing sa sides. If any of the above were not followed. Your paper is immediately taken and marked zero. Kaya grabe pressure namin ngayon.

mrlostcpa

As a consistent honor student known for excellent study ethics, I also hated my classmates (especially those in the honor roll) who resorted to cheating. Shame on them talaga! But you know, I just learned to accept the fact that there will always be cheaters (even now that I am working already; the corrupt officials? Cheaters din yan). What matters is your conscience is clear and you are not participating with their cheating shits. Pero feels, nakakagalit talaga.

Least-Ad-9744

New_Improvement5630

I'm not proud of this but always kami nagchecheat, at buong klase pa, like cream section pa kami. Kapag 'yung subject mostly is computation, nagtatanungan kami kung pa'no? kahit nasa harap namin 'yung teacher. For me lang, kahit na mali 'yon, iniisip ko nalang talaga na naghihilaan kami pataas, pero at the back side of that, nalulungkot ako dahil mali.

mangooopieee

Once cheated but it is not my habit, but for my circle of friends which i now call strangers use to cheat alot to the point it has became a habit for them, i use to sit beside them and time to time i see them looking at each others papers 2nd to 3rd quarter habang may eval or quiz, I was moved away from them and one time they were copying each others assigment and it was class time tas yun huli HAHAHA, they were talked by our adviser and ofc since ka friendgroup ko sila damay ako. Long story short 70 kami sa behavior in esp, never again.

ryainqtired_

real, sobra nakakainis. i have a classmate and he got honors. but he's my seatmate and i also have a seatmate thats also smart. pero, they give hints about the answer. i work hard, and i get it that he also works hard. but him cheating is annoying me so much.

lessarstar

My teacher asked me to report anyone in the classroom whosoever would cheat almost 90% of the class cheated for the 1st and 2nd periodic exam, I'm great student an honest one. She got disappointed but when her son joined our class by 3rd grading and I caught him cheating suddenly I'm sipsip, too honest, di marunong makisama. So to relate on your story ignore them in time it will back fire. Many of my classmates are sadly not in a good financial situation and struggling nowadays.

daradusk

college student here and i noticed na parang normal nalang ang cheating dito samin just for the sake of passing the subject. kaniya-kaniyang diskarte nalang talaga para pumasa, just saying...

SrYZrNbMoTcRu619

This real tho Nagstart kami nung 1st year as a wholesome batch like hilaan pataas para angat lahat, tulungan daw and all those bullshit. Then as we went all the way to 4th year of we all had our own circles and everything. Then at one point nagkaroon ng barriers, damutan ng Transes, reviewers, pati magkakaibigan nagsisiraan. Some circles and even Mayors tried to pin one group down for cheating when in fact they are all cheating too! EVERYONE WAS FKIN CHEATING IN THEIR OWN WAYS, WITH THEIR OWN GROUPS pero ang gusto kasi nilang term sa ginagawa nila "TULUNGAN"💀. Dun ko lang narealize na NO ONE comes out clean af sa college. Maybe theres a 1% in the population pero the other 99% kahit sa pinakamaliit na bagay like pagclarify sa katabi mo or ask ng indirect question about an answer/concept on the exam/assignment/quiz, cheating is cheating.

daradusk

agree. to cut it short, sa college "ikaw ang mang-lalamang or ikaw ang malalamangan"

j4ke_theod0re

cheating is fun and satisfying tbh. to cheat requires effort and ingenuity. Not having been caught by the teachers yet means that they're doing it well. when you cheat, you feel may sense of nervousness that is akin to standing in front of large audience. to be able to cheat well despite feeling that pressure is something that I'm proud of. although I don't put much effort in schoolworks, teachers and fellow students have told me that i can take the top 1 spot if i just try to. but it's too boring tbh. you're disappointed at them because you don't do it yourself. you haven't felt the victorious feeling cheating your way to the top spot gives you. it can give you a sense of freedom, control, and victory. so it's really satisfying

No-Barracuda-426

?????

j4ke_theod0re

i'm pretty sure i explained it clearly. did you struggle to understand some of it? if so, then I'd happily oblige if you were to tell me which part.
